Greetings from me, RangerRickL, and Coco, the horse in the foreground. This photo was taken yesterday after Coco and I completed our third 450 mile journey. There is one more day to go as we head towards home.

I have been overwhelmed with the messages of support for returning. To all thank you. It is really good to be back.
Today had dog training in the morning. The german shepherd puppy we have is 13 months old and still needs lots of training. He expected to stop being a puppy somewhere between 18 months and 2 years.
Walk today was the same as yesterday, but felt a little less exhausting. I take this as a good sign. I'm still far from the pace I used to have. I am expecting it to take months to get my form back. Two things I still have on my side are time and persistence.16 -

Puppies!! I also have a 13 month old puppy ... a Standard Poodle, with a maturation rate similar to yours. I like to say that I now have a large dog with a puppy brain! She actually is really good ... just need to work on impulse control when she meets new people. The pandemic isolation has made this really challenging as she was not able to meet very many new people. She is a good source of exercise, though, as she loves her walks.9 -

Greetings! Thank you for checking in. Coco looks FABULOUS for having spent 3 days trailering already. By the time I am typing I am sure you are on your last leg and looking forward to being in your northern home again this afternoon!
Here is a meme which has always struck a chord with me for 2 May... We rely on friends and family for support but the real secret to me is below.

โA beautiful day begins with a beautiful mindset.โ
Yesterday everything went the wrong way... Frustrating thoughts took over... But "bad" days happen

Spent my birthday (today) just a quiet day at home with hubby. I planted some more of my flowers (bulbs) including cannas since I "think" that the cold night frosts might be over. Hubby had a surprise dinner party Friday night and another birthday (surprise) BBQ for me Sat night with my children, grandchildren, and the great grandbabies! โค๏ธ (I shared a couple of pics of the babies on the May 1 thread!) I am VERY blessed and just have to say that GOD has been very very good to me over the years! โค๏ธ10 -

I'm happy about completing the first c25k workout, I tried it once before and didn't finish it. Either my athletic abilities have gotten better, or my increase in calory budget did the work. In any case, I can't wait to run 5k!

Continuing with the major decluttering that I am doing. I emptied everything out of 4 closets today and organized it. I took a third load of stuff to the thrift store today. The end goal of all of this is to be able to setup a nice workout space in our spare bedroom. I probably have another weekends of work left to do to make it happen.12 -

@thabit11 - C2K is a great program! Iโve tried it both successfully and unsuccessfully in the past. Those times I wasnโt successful I got impatient and skipped too far forward and ended up with injuries that sidelined me. My recommendation is trust the process and follow at the given pace even if you get impatient with it. Iโll be cheering you on! ๐๐ป๐๐ปโโ๏ธ6
