I skipped ahead, now what?

Okay so tonight I should be running Wk7D3, no problems I can do that. But yesterday I ran Bridge to 10K Wk1D1 with no problems. Which I didn't think anything of until my husband said "well if you do wk7 now it'll just be like going backwards and not making progress". And then I thought well it was such a long run compared to what I have been doing should I do a shorter run to compensate? So maybe I would do Wk1D1 of C25k just to get out and moving but not really stressing the body.
I know I'm nuking this but I just can't decide which run to do tonight. I feel fine, no leg issues so I could do either of the two harder runs. Should I just continue what I was doing? Or continue ahead with the new program. I only did B210k because I needed the longer time to complete the virtual 5k, which I did, noted the time, and continued on with the program. If I do the shorter program I was going to treat it like some speed play. See how fast I could go just for the fun of it.
And yes my husband does run, he's of the theory that you must always move ahead in training. It's the marine training.

If I am not mistaken, isn't wk 7 of C25K and wk1 of B210K basically the same? In B210K you run 10, walk a min, run 10 right? Just stick with the B210K plan, and add in another minute walk when needed.0

In week 7 you run for 25 minutes straight. In week 1 of B210k it's 5 8 minute runs with a one minute break in between.0

Come on, don't you want to finish it just to say that you finished C25K? :bigsmile:0

I decided to go with W7D3 just so I can say I finished the program. I'll tackle B210k when I get to it. Still a good run tonight and a great pace.0

I'm kind of glad you decided this for the reasons 4m3li4 said - you get to say you completed the programme and its only a couple of weeks :bigsmile:0 -
Unless you have a reason to finish a couple weeks early, I don't see a point in it. However, I don't think that you would be either helped or hurt by starting the 10k program before finishing C25k.0

No reason at all to skip ahead, just did it the one day to get in enough program time to do a 5k in. I did find out that my Runtastic pace is more accurate then my RunDouble pace. But a faster pace will come in time so no big deal.0
