@Mrs_Hoffer I echo your post. I'm out of the Winner's Circle, but I am proud to still be here and posting.
Today, our youngest son and his wife arrived from Oregon. We are gathering our clan for a last family get together at our farm. Everyone will be here together on the 4th of July.

Exercise? Yes
Calories? Yes (barely)
Tracking? Yes, everything.
I'm definitely not in the Winner's Circle, but given the fact that I've lost nearly 40 pounds in the year since I restarted on MFP, and even though I've been bouncing in the same 5 pound or so range since January, I'm almost content. I know my goal is still 30-35 pounds away, but right now, my head and heart just aren't in it. I'll keep tracking, I'll keep exercising, I'll do my best to stay within calories, and I'll be hanging around here too. We'll see what happens.7 -
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes- Treadmill: 35 min / 1.84 mi
Apple Activity Circles: 29/29
@seilidhe I've been stuck at the same 2-3lb range since March. I'm not completely on maintenance but close to it. I think temporary maintenance is a useful technique in creating new and better habits. When you're ready you can restart on losing.
I'm probably going to try to lose only one pound per month for the rest of the year while I'm doing my recomp. That'll get me to my current goal in about nine months. It may also happen that the results of my recomp will allow me to stay at a slightly higher weight. At least that's my hope. It would make life much easier.

Yes x 3 today. Still struggling with getting off the sweets from my ridiculous week end binge (once I got derailed on the weekend, I really let loose). But because I'm on vacation this week and rested on Monday from the weekend, I did a ton of biking and swimming so my calories stayed under due to that. For my sweet cravings, I did limit it to 7 chocolate covered pretzels and candied ginger. Today I'll eat watermelon if a sweet craving hits me. Sugar is so highly addictive but I'm well versed at weening myself off of it.
I have used 3 pass days for June so I am still on track for the Winner's Circle - this will be my first Winner's Circle since I started on MFP May 17, 2020. Apparently I'm a tough nut to crack but at least I finally got here!5 -

@Jana_2020
BRAVO!
I have found the months I was not in the Winner’s Circle were often the ones I learned what I needed to do to get there - and helped me develop new habits!!
Also, for me at least, I’ve had months in the Winner’s Circle where I slightly lost or maintained & months when I wasn’t when I had a large loss.
One is about consistency.
The other is about our accuracy & the goals we set for ourselves.
And as @RangerRickL always says: honest, accurate tracking is the key skill. This gives us our reality. Then we can tweak our daily calorie goal and/or exercise goal to meet our needs.3 -
