The bad diet topic is perfect for me today. We were out most of the day. I ate my leftover steak for breakfast, had a glass of wine and fries as a snack and then a dinner of wedge salad, ahi tuna sashimi and a lot of wine. Exercise was a bit low today but I did spend about an hour and half in the pool when we got home. I was moving the entire time to stay warm. I feel quite relaxed now so I think I'll sleep well tonight. Tomorrow I'll be back to healthy eating.

I got my exercise in on my rest day with a morning yoga session and coaching kids Jiu Jitsu (it was only 4 kids and 2 coaches so not a high energy one for me) but I got totally off track and didn’t log food so pass day 2 for me.
I did take mom grocery shopping though, first time she has been out of the house since I gave her COVID! Good to see her improving even if it is slow10 -
Today will have to be my first pass day 😭😭😭
Exercise: well I spent a good while on my feet decorating for my son's bday party and we played volleyball for about 30-40 minutes
Calories: I don't know exactly by how much, but today I know I definitely went over my calorie budget..
Tracking: nope. It was just too difficult to try and track everyday throughout the day during the party

I am going on vacation next week, leave Wednesday morning for 8 days. Do not expect to be able to exercise and/or log in consistently, so probably will not make the winner's circle this month. However I will do my best when I can.
Is it another fishing trip? 🎣 Your pics from the last one were great!3 -
I was debating saying yes to exercise yesterday but, yep, calling it good. I had 4 grandkids, aged 8 to 2, Friday night and all day Saturday. On Saturday they helped me cook dinner - it was one of those kits we’re doing together from time to time - so all that activity plus playing outside, and up and down stairs, etc. I was worn out, but so satisfied.
Tracked - yep. I calculated all of dinner in advance, (chicken Milanese, Italian bread, sides, gelato and biscotti) and ate accordingly the rest of the day.
Under - yep

@SModa61 - I love today’s reflection and the article. I wish I’d understood this years ago. It drives me batty when I see articles like “so and so started running and lost 100 pounds, you can too.” So misleading!!!
@WhatMeRunning - I can relate to this, although your mileage far exceeds anything I’ve done. I wish I’d tracked my food when I trained for the Chicago marathon. While I did lose some weight, i would have benefitted from fueling my body better.
@Chinkiri - “A lovely day! Lots of gratitude for all today's nice things, including the opportunity to wear my swanky, letterbox-red dress to the concert - it fitted, a close fit, but that works OK with this dress.”
You brought a smile to my face with this.
@donna25trinity - we should start a Heather Fan Club. It was only recently when she was talking about binge eating that I finally put together that deprivation only guarantees a binge sooner or later. It was a moment I wanted to slap my forehead wondering why I didn’t realize that before. Good for you for enjoying yourself and managing the calories.

Yes x 3. I went for a bike ride early morning hoping to escape the worst of the humidity; I didn't. For the first time since I took up bike riding (last November), I can say I hated it. I may have to rethink my cardio plan if it ends up being a hot and humid summer...
@globalhiker I agree on the salad toppings you mentioned. I also like some feta sprinkles or a spice called "Aromat" to perk up a salad. Aromat is also awesome of a plate of sliced cucumbers.6 -

✔️ EXERCISE: Yes. almost 7 hours of community yard sales with a friend.
❌ CALORIES: No. 2341/1600. Although I did well in NOT spending a lot of money at all the yard sales, and thus not bringing home a lot of "STUFF" that I really didn't need, I did NOT do so well resisting all the snacks! I guess I thought it was necessary to support ALLLL of the charities represented there! Tomorrow is a fasting day, so it will work itself out.
✔️ TRACK: Yes.
PASSES USED: 1/3 (5Jun)

June 5 was a good three yes day. Headed out first thing in the morning and did a 5+ mile walk. Drove hubby to the marina and headed out shopping (something COVID has taken the enjoyment out of). Went to Macy's for more workout clothing, but passed the bathing suit section. I HATE bathing suit shopping and avoid wearing one at all cost. I paused and saw one suit that I liked the color and decided to try it on. What's the harm in rejecting one more swimsuit. It was perfect. Boy is that motivating to keep my focus. Today, June 6, I went out and walked 4 miles on the beach in my bathing suit. Despite literally living on the beach, I have not stepped foot on it or sat on it in many years. Sitting comes next. :P8

To everybody, what inspiring responses for both June 4 and 5. Thank you all for sharing.
@alligatorob - "Best you can while away" is the name of the game. We have to be able to live, while also balancing it with healthy choices. Have a great trip.
@rangerrickl - It definitely sounds like you got your exercise! I hope you are making progress at your ranch!0 -
