Vacation time

Hello ladies! I was on vacation last week. My hubby got sick during vacation and I came home with whatever he had...no fun! It seemed easier to stick to a plan on vacation with no schedule.
I just ate when I was hungry and enjoyed my time. I lost a few pounds and I'm sure it's from all our walking. Now that I am home and feeling better, I am determined to get back on track. My immediate goal is to lose 20 pounds. I had RNY 2 years ago and this last year I have started gaining weight. I'm sure it's because I wasn't able to go to the gym and have been working from home for over a year and my whole routine turned upside down. It was easy to snack and graze. Even though I can't eat much, when you snack absent-mindedly, it's still easy to get too many calories in! I'm off to create food plans and plan to ride the recumbent bike for 30 minutes today. Wish me luck!

I recently read a book called Mindless Eating by Brian Wansick that gave me some great insight and strategies for cutting off eating mindlessly. I fojnd it a great read. It's truly an everyday struggle.2 -
