November Accountability Goals
Okay, all! I've been MIA this summer and fall, but I'm seriously worried about the holidays! Let's get some accountability going on here. What goals do you want to set for yourself for November. And how do you want to check in? I am giving up sugar. I'm doing the plunge. Raw honey and maple syrup will be my subs, but I'm…

I'm a bit late, but life, you know? It's time to set March Madness Health Goals. This month I'm working on abstaining from my slider foods.... Tortilla Chips and salsa, crackers, and sugar free candy.
Welcome to 2022!
Happy New Year! I know that looking back 2021 was a difficult year in so many ways. But, if I concentrate on the small things that made a difference in my life this past year, I can begin to see the positive among the difficulties. I hit my one year surgiversay, I implemented small healthy goals during the year. I lost…
After surgery regain
Tell me your thoughts and experiences..... I live in fear of regain!
Welcome!
After my Bariatric Sleeve Surgery in October 2020, I felt I really needed to reach out to others for support and encouragement. MFP has been a wonderful extension of my WL journey. I was unable to find many active groups for WLS patients or those thinking about having WLS. So, I open this to others around the globe who are…
Who wants to join me?
Hello fellow VSG friends, When I started this group I was desparate to find other people walking the path of VSG surgery. My clinic gave basic info, but was not a lot of day to day help. I feel I would have benefitted greatly from hearing from and about others on their journey. I had been an off and on user of MFP since…

New to the group
Hey everyone! I was sleeved 8/26/22 and was 295. I'm currently at 212. 5 months ago I was at 200. but a new job (I work in the healthcare field) where they bring in lunch every day was not my friend. Just because it's healthy food, doesn't mean it's a weight loss food. So now I skip the brought in lunches and working hard…

Checking in for Summer
Hey all! So I have my new knees and have definitely picked up walking again now that I've got no pain. My plans for summer include a new kitchen which will mean 3 or so weeks of not cooking! Meaning ordering in! Gah! I just got through a couple of big bouts of ordering in because hubby wasn't into cooking while I…

So much great stuff there. It's where I've been spending more time. There are specifically sleeve forums too. Check it out if you haven't already! Hope everyone is well. I myself have gained in this kitchen Renohell I've been in since July 5th.
Foamies
3wks and 3 days post op RNY and I had my first bout of the foamies. I did not know we could not throw up so I sat at the toilet waiting for 30mins and nothing happened. Not a pleasant experience. It did lead me to discover papaya enzymes to help with the cramping afterwards. But man, I will not attempt to eat that quickly…
