July 24, 25, 26
On 24th I decided to have one extra last meal, so a planned pass day, I thought eating one more meal will be significantly way better than a whole day of being over, little did I know that I would twist my ankle right before going to sleep and so have the following days as pass days. I'm much better now, I feel some pains only when I take the stairs. It wasn't very painful to begin with, but took my time to heal it so it won't hindrance my workouts later.
As for tomorrow, I need to check my leg condition, but I think I could do some light walks. So I hope it will not be a pass day.
As for my meals, I believe they were 70% healthy, not over by much. I didn't stuff myself with chocolates and salty snacks, which I'm happy about.

I'm away (again!? Yes, planned some months ago before my son died but after he became very poorly and we knew it would only be a matter of weeks/ months)
With my daughter, Dil and the grandchildren. Short bike ride and lots of walking.

My sister bought an Oculus Quest (VR) and it arrived yesterday, so we played Beat Saber together which was fun.
I am starting to think about my personal goals for August. I've done pretty well with my July goals so I will likely continue or extend on those for the most part.9 -
@thabit11 Ouch!! Sorry to hear about your ankle, but it sounds like you've done very well in spite of your injury! (No chocolates and salty snacks!) Good for you! Take it easy on your ankle though, you don't want to get back on it too soon.4

Sorry to hear of your leg. Please take it easy. If you want to exercise, you can try sitting exercises. There are lots on YouTube.4 -

I managed all three but the day was a bit of a struggle did spin and some guitar but overall just an odd day. I am not sure if it is allergies or wild fire smoke in the Adirondackβs but my eyes are killing me very sore feeling and tired. Maybe to bed early.7

Today was on plan exercise and calorie wise and I feel infinitely better than I did this weekend. Also, that excel file Iβve been keeping is really illustrating how letting yourself go on the weekends can really kill the efforts you make during the week. π¬ Excited about August and moving forward with my last 20.9 -

Pass day 7. Ended up working late. Needed to exercise to gain some extra calories for supper. Once I realized I wouldn't be able to exercise, I didn't bother to eat a low calorie supper and as a result went way over.π€¦ββοΈ8

Weights and 30 min walk, yes under by alot and tracked! I allowed myself 2 pieces of chicken and a big dessert but didn't need all of it.
I still hve 1 pass left which im hoping not to use. Xo4 -
Back home today. Tracking and calories good. Closed my move ring at 510 calories, and "exercise" at 156%, so I am giving myself the exercise goal too. So good day. Tomorrow should work out pretty much the same.5

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes today? I did! Most of it was the walk to/from the bus, but when I took the dog for a walk around the complex tonight, we made a second lap around the perimeter and we jogged it. I may regret that in the morning as my foot was already hurting, but I have to say I felt good that I was able to make the whole lap, which is approximately 1/4 mile, without walking. (The weather was amazing for a late July in Tucson day. I could live with this year round. ) I also did a slow stroll on the Loop, at about the same time as I was out there last night, and took some more pictures. Oh, the difference that 24 hours makes!Gotta admit, I'd have liked to get down into the wash with a real camera to have some fun with this interesting looking mud!

August is my birthday month, plus we're starting to do in-person reunion meetings which always start out as a schmooze fest, with food. I need to get my head fixed around the fact that I cannot eat like I did before. I just can't. I know it. And in a couple of weeks, I have to get my A1C checked again. I'm seriously hoping it hasn't gone up, but I'm afraid it probably has. Le sigh. I'm glad I'm here. Even on those days when I don't do well, I know I'm working towards doing the right thing when I get those 3 yes days. So, thanks for being here UAC. I'm glad I found ya!
