Recently, I've been eating healthy foods but at maintenance levels. Which isn't bad because my body craved a little more fuel. And maybe it did need it for something, but the result was no weight loss. It's frustrating being so close to goal for a couple months.

So finally I avoided that late night snack. You know the one, right?
"Oh, I just need one bite. Umm, that was good. Maybe one more..."
Last night, something was able to register that it was just not necessary. Such a relief.

And that was reflected in the scale this morning. I'm back to my lowest point again. The numbers will tell the story. Sharing this with you keeps me accountable. Such a blessing.
    Thank you <3 fit-crew <3
Fingers crossed this is the new norm, and not the blip. ((praying))

    Chris!

So happy to hear that they know what Ronan needs, and that medication can fix it. Poor baby to have to take those nasties. But so glad-glad-glad for knowledge and solutions, and well little baby boys!

    @Cpanus

How's Rowan doing? Have they found anything that works with his medicine? I've heard peanut butter can help.

I'm sure your daughter found lots of website that talk about it. Here's another I bumped into if you're curious:
    https://www.pccarx.com/Blog/the-art-of-flavoring-how-to-mask-the-taste-of-different-medicines

    Hope it gets easier.
    Best wishes,

My cat has end-stage bladder cancer. I'm not thinking about the loss right now, just enjoying having him.

He's getting an oral opiate. The compounding pharmacy flavored it with chicken and recommended adding marshmallow to mask the bitterness. It smells yummy and is a finger-licking temptation. But the chance of addiction makes it too scary to want to find out.

Thanks, Paula. The kids are working on it. We had Ronan today while S&P cleaned their house and did some other stuff. I walked...5.41 hot miles in 91 hot mins then went to Safeway then we took Ronan home. Crazy day!!

So sorry about your cat, Paula. I know it's hard. Sending you good thoughts.

Chris Paula had lots of great suggestions.

Paula you enjoy as much time with your kitty as you can. He will love your doting.

Thanks Kathy. I hope you had a great day also.

Went biking this evening. I remembered to put my FitBit in my sock. Added 3000 steps to my day. Actually got over 10,000 steps today. Will have to remember to do that more. Libby and I were gone for just over an hour. Beautiful evening. Heard lots of frogs and almost ran over a snake.

45 minute walk - 2.1 miles and 40 minutes on Recumbent bike - 9.13 miles. The foot is feeling pretty good. Not too hot today in Atlanta. It was 81 when I walked at the park.

Thank you all for getting me started with the Fitbit challenges. Fun, fun, fun.πŸ˜ƒ

Paula - I love walking through cemeteries....always makes me think about the lives of the people there and those who love them. Is that morbid ? Lol...

So I did a ton of exercise this weekend, which was great. Now time to eat like I mean in and stop snacking!! I've just felt super hungry last month.....hoping to pull out all the stops for July!

Karen, we used to live across the street from a cemetery when I was a kid. No walls or fences. All to the markers were 1800s!! There were rules. No stepping on the graves was the main one. There was a small building at the corner...don't know what it was called...one day my older brother crawled into it and started screaming like the ghosts got him good...just wishing here. My two younger sisters, one younger brother and I just started screaming and running across the street to our house. Mike came out of the little building and started laughing. We all screamed at him then started laughing. It was spooky at night. I could see the whole thing from the top of the bunk bed. :o

5.46 miles in 93 mins done this morning.
