I'm up 0.8 pounds. Woulda coulda shoulda. I was down a bit as of yesterday morning, but then I went to a kosher bbq, and ate more than I "shoulda." It wasn't *that* much, but I think there was a fair amount of salt in some of it, and so now I'm up instead of down. At least it's probably more fluid weight than "real" weight, but c'est la vie.
This week we are having a quiet Shabbat without guests, so I will plan to eat more moderately for Friday night and Saturday lunch (the two bigger Shabbat meals).
On Sunday we begin observing the "nine days" that lead up to Tisha B'Av. These are days where we continue to lesson our joy, and prepare for the commemoration of the day that both Temples in Jerusalem were destroyed. We stop drinking wine and stop eating meat for this time period (with the exception of Shabbat itself). For me that means more fish, but the extra dairy may be more challenging. A week from Sunday, then, is a major fast day (and is the longest fast of the year).

At Wednesday's WW up 2.2#. No excuses, great party Monday. Tracked 75 SPs and over my calories allowance by 705cal.1

Been gone a long time. Started back up again after huge issues with my knees and needing to make some positive changes.

This week marks the first week that I’ve used the WW meeting weigh-in as my official weigh-in. To this point, I had held off because of the “covid feet” requirement that you wear shoes to weigh in. Now that it’s back to the traditional “socks on the scale” - and since last week's result at the Thursday meeting was the same as my Wednesday at home result - I’m comfortable doing that.
So I was down 1.6 this week to 207.2. That’s 59 pounds down from my February 2020 status, about 27 pounds from my goal, and 25 .2 pounds from reclaiming my free Lifetime status. It’s also two weeks in a row that I’ve been down. I’m mildly skeptical that it’s all true loss, because Wednesday I worked outside in the 85° heat for about two hours, and sweat - well, there were three spots each about the size of a dollar bill on my shirt that weren’t wet. Like Steve's gain, we'll see if this loss was mostly water.
But I’ll take it!1 -
Well I'm up up 4.4 lbs this am. I think I'll address this in a separate post. I had a Heart Catherization and had to check in at 6 am this am. More in a separate thread titled. "What a week." 🤯0
