Pass day for me. It was my husband's birthday. I did not eat anything over the top but I did indulge a little and did not track. And I did get in a good amount of exercise.
I have been enjoying reading everyone's comments and their particular experiences. Thank you for sharing.
Serving size too is a definite surprise in life for me too. I too have had that experience with the 1/2 cup ice cream.
@RangerRickL's comment on being raised to eat everything makes me think of my 2 year old granddaughter. Her parents approach is very different from anything I have ever learned and I appreciate what I learn from watching them as parents. First of all, she as been self feeding from a young age which was quite different for me. They give her incredibly healthy food options. I often look at her meal and think I should be eating what she is eating. But they are both very careful not to force food on her because they feel this is a message too many of us get in that we need to clear our plate etc. They want her to learn to eat when she is hungry and quit when she is full. What a concept, says me, who is still struggling with this!!!8 -

Oh yes. EnoughBut one day it is all over. I am thinking on even breaking my sober streak for a day and celebrate at our new place. But I am not sure if I will do that.... In fact, I dont miss alcohol

I ask the same question every time when finishing a bowl of "Magnum Classic". But I guess that a smaller bar of the same ice cream does not bring me the same satisfaction, which increases proportionally to the ice size

@znaoiec - what a thought provoking question! I don’t think I had a specific “a ha” moment but it was definitely an eye opener when I realized how many calories I was eating with the snacking at work. One little bag of.chips leads to another leads to a granola bar leads to a candy bar leads to chips and it just repeats. They don’t fill me up, I just want more and more, and the calories are outrageous. This is one very bad habit that I have 95% under control.5

Chai lattes i love them so much and even have them with almond milk but they hve sooo much calories. Hot chips is also another 1 that is so ridiculously high.3

Today's win: I woke up this morning to the pouring rain which would normally put me off my morning walk and enough to make an excuse not to do it. But I made the decision that it's only water and walked anyway (thanks to this challenge of having to get my exercise in). Suffice to say, I got absolutely soaking wet .. but did it feel good .. hell yeah!
And what's even better is ... now I can NEVER use that excuse again!!!
Day 11
2/3 pass days used
@Healthymumlife Since it's been so hot here, I've been walking very early once I get to work... and yesterday I got caught in the (light) rain.. (and I must add that per Murphy's Law, the rain is going to begin when you are farthest away from your jobsite!)sooooo I took off JOGGING back to work. It was only a 5 minute jog - but I was very pleased that I could jog for 5 whole minutes without dying!

Growing up on Sunday morning before church we would always have fruit and a danish . It was the danish, which I still love on Sunday mornings, that was the original shocker.6 -
