Smith Machine Routine

Anyone enjoy the Smith Machine? I am new to gym equipment and sometimes when my friends are not with me I feel like there are some things I just can't do for lack of spotters. However, I found that I really like the Smith Machine because I can get a decent workout but still feel like I am being guided. So far I have been doing squats, chest press, shoulder press, and deadlift. Today I also attached TRX straps to the top of the machine and used it to pull myself forward. So far I can add 20 lbs to the bar and get a decent workout. I'm working towards being able to do a pull up. So far I can just hang. Today was not a day where I had an opportunity to utilize the pull up bar though...the gym was busy today!
