Morning all , start of the week - yup no idea why weigh in is on a Monday for me
Anyway this last week I have been pondering (as well as swimming in the lake) pondering on the whole weight and numbers thing. Don't get me wrong, the scales she is a cruel but necessary mistress but why do we feel thinner and slim one day ,step on and our hopes are dashed, feel like well "I am definitely heavier today" to find that oh wow I am less and perhaps more tellingly why do we feel like this at all ? What is it between how we feel about ourselves and what the scales actually say ?
I don't have an answer for that but it is interesting for me, confidence in ones self is linked so much to our perception of ourselves and not to our appearance or in this case weight.
So how has it been for Wobble ?

LW 14s.1 3/4 - 197.75
today 13s.13 3/4 - 195.75
loss 2lbs but only 1/4 last week so just over a lb a week really
GW - 13 - 182
so pleased with that and on the 13 stone something mark so feels like I am getting somewhere. I am really enjoying the lake - it is now 18 degrees but they have opened the sauna so Covid aside it is really nice to warm up.
My next goal when I hit 2 stone lost so in 1.75 lbs time , I am going to buy some new smaller jeans

Was on vacation last week and gained back up to 158lbs... glad I'm back down this week. I've got to stay focused, as next Saturday is my reunion and I want to be a close to 150 as I can get. No desserts, until Saturday, at the reunion.
Moving is so much work, with little kids who are starting school next week, as well, an hour away and still maintaining work schedules. Send in reinforcements!1 -
