My NSV: by body undergoes wonderful transformations. This EPIC program makes wonders with some dedication from my side After losing 26 kg I don't have really hanging skin, but in some parts it looks as not ironed clothes . I don’t know if I will manage to eliminate this “defect” as in my age skin is not so elastic anymore. But I am going to keep trying. May be in January I will post my side-by-side “before” and “after” pictures, just to see and show what one can achieve in one year10

@Winner_in_Life Even after only 2.5 weeks of EPIC I'm feeling much more firm all over. I think it's because all of the exercise variations. Typically when I lifted weights I'd do 4-5 different exercises whereas now it's slight changes in position of the same exercises so the muscles get fuller coverage. I think the skin will continue to tighten up but it will take longer for those of us who are more "mature"5

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes
So in the past there was usually one NSV picked from the 15th to focus on the following day but that's difficult. I think when I looked at them all, the ones which really stood out were the ones which demonstrated how sticking with the plan had made folks physically more ABLE to have a better quality of life. Whether it was the ability to climb steps without pain, or the ability to get up and down from the floor playing with kids more easily. I think sometimes we tend to think about our appearance as the end goal (which is important) but to me the health benefits are so incredible that it always makes me stop and think "how come I did not do this earlier!" Well of course we all know the answers to that, but congratulations to all on progress and sticking with us here. It's not as easy as it seems.8 -

Epic Day 19 whole body workout 😊 @LazyBlondeChef you are right, I discovered many new muscles 😉 Yesterday was a "chest day" and it's the first time I feel these muscles6 -

Exercise – yes, bike ride, lawnmowing, cardio workouts
Tracked – yes
Calories – yes
Just remembered a non-scale victory – I re-enrolled with the sports centre and had a swim! Now I have to get back in the gym with those machines!
I agree with Summer – the joy of being able to do more – whether it’s playing with grandchildren, running/walking outside in beautiful surroundings, or sometimes just getting the housework done with less pain, those are the real benefits of getting fitter/lighter.

I think that means for your whole life you have to keep working at it. The goal isn't to reach a certain number on the scale, it is to remain there!9 -

1/3 pass days I found peanut butter cup bats for Halloween…I felt the need to sample so the trick or treaters were going to get good candy!! Poor excuse they are good👻. I did track and log but anyway.
I managed a 48 minute walk at lunch just under 3mph we covered 2.38 miles and it was warm.
Happy Friday8 -

My NSV: I have missed the gym a bit lately (kid having covid, injured arm) and apparently my presence in class is so consistent my absence throws everyone off and people were complaining about it when I went back. Lol. So it’s nice to be missed, and it’s nice to know that my routine is consistent enough to have the effect.11 -
Sept 16:
✅✅✅ Exercise today was 3 different walks totaling 120 mins.
I thought for sure I would need to take a pass day today. This morning I decided to snack on a handful of sunflower seeds, and that, coupled with my homemade peanut butter, oatmeal protein bar used up way too many of my calories. Ugh. But I was able to recover and call today a good day. Whew!
@SummerSkier I totally agree with your comment above - which you stated very well. And at the time of my posting today's opener (last night before I went to bed), not many people had posted their NSV's yet.8 -

This overwhelms me. I think that is why I haven't been able to motivate myself to share any NSVs these past two days.5 -
Amazing NSV's, very encouraging.
Yes x 3 today. I had a lousy start to my day at work and yet I managed to walk in the kitchen and thought no, I don't want to do this, this isn't going to help. So I sat back down and played some music and just kept on working. I also got on my bike at lunch and went for a long ride and then burned some energy in the pool after work. So another NSV. Probably wouldn't have been able to do that a few weeks back.9 -

Hey @bradkcrew !
Take it habit by habit.
And one day or meal at a time.
You CAN do it.
I read today something like: “To create the new me, I will have to shed some of my old ways.”

Exercise for 20+: Yes!
Tracked: Yes!
Ate within budget: Yes!8 -
The weather has been perfect here at the farm.
Exercise: nothing like hand raking a 60’ diameter round pen. I needed to fill in the divots left by a bucking horse. He had not been saddled for two years. It was quite a rodeo. He was more calm today and he will be even more calm tomorrow. Nonetheless that raking was whole body exercise.
Tracking: good
Calories: back o the track10 -

Treadmill: 36 mins / 2.17 mi
Full Body Warm Up: 5 min
Day 8: EPIC I - Dumbbell Upper Body Workout (+ cool down): 42 mins
Apple rings closed: 16/30
Passes used: 2/3 (1sep) (4sep)
I loved the Day 8 upper body workout. On day 7 she started posting a list of the exercises that will be done (in the description section of youtube video) which I find helpful so I can plan ahead for any variations I might want to do though I didn't need to today nor do I generally need to with upper body. Today was more standard lifting where we did four sets of most of the exercises. In some cases it was only 2. My shoulders are feeling a little sore tonight but in a good way.4
