Newly Diagnosed

Found out I have T2 diabetes 2 weeks ago. I started taking 1500 mg of metformin daily and will see my doctor in 4 weeks to see how it is working. Luckily I started going to the gym and eating better in January so I've already lost some weight. It is very overwhelming. There is so much to think about daily. I started logging my foods and that seems to help me stay focused. I've been a member here for quite awhile but never utilized the whole site. I look forward to learning more about diabetes and getting support from all of you.
