I'm down 2 pounds. I'm not really sure how, but I guess I'll take it but not consider it really a "victory." I did snack a bit less, but I wasn't at the level I want to be at.
The next week and a half are days of deeper introspection, as we are creeping up to Rosh Hashanah. I like this time of year because it forces you to take a good strong look at yourself under the (sometimes) harsh light of judgement. Regardless of how we've rationalized things through the year, the ultimate question is "did I act properly?" Unfortunately, I don't feel like I ever reach the answer I'd like to give! Thankfully, we are given this time to try to fix things...recognize what we've done, stop doing it, resolve never to do it again in the future, and (in cases where one has wronged another person), make amends.
So, in addition to all of my personal stuff, I have been taking a good look at my overall health, including food intake. There are certainly some things I am proud of, but there are also plenty of things to work on!
Hey, as I'm writing this, I just realized that I missed my WW lifetime anniversary (sometime in early/mid August; I don't know the exact date)! It's been 12 years since I hit goal weight and became a lifetime member! That's something to be proud of!

Congratulations on the anniversary. I hope to be able to say that same thing in 13 years (gonna take me a full year to get to goal)
Down 3.2 this week. Lowered my alcohol intake this past week. I had gotten in the habit of drinking 2 glasses of wine most nights and thought it would probably be best to curtail that somewhat. I always logged it and stayed within my calorie budget, but I'm trying to get my doctor to take me off a couple of meds or at least reduce them. So I want to do what I can to help move in that direction.
Also trying to do a bike ride 2-3 times a week. My knees are shot, so I really can't go for a walk, but the cycling isn't bad and we have a beautiful bike path along a river near my house.

Like many I'm looking for about a 10# cushion, so am planning to stay in "weight-loss" mode.0 -
Well, it’s been an interesting month. I’m down 1.2 this week, but my results for the month were +5, +4.8, -7.2, and -1.2. Overall, I’m up 1.4 for the month compared to a goal of being down 2.0 each month. Still, those first two weeks of August included two weddings, five days away from home in Texas for a graduation, and a week with family staying here for the wedding. I still feel I made reasonable choices in Texas - not on plan, but not full-on indulgence; just eating reasonable items and staying active.
Let’s see if in September I can lose 3.4 to get back to my average of 2.0 pounds lost per month. 👍1 -
Down 5# this week. My DW has harrassed me into doing a more Keto type of plan, I know its like any other plan it works if you really do it, I am just not sure it is a life time plan. I will take the loss just the same.
