Now we will need a good videographer to capture the flicking, flowing hair of Mrs Fox and the golden glints cast back by the sun.Won't that be slick?
SLICK0 -
Yes I am sure Mrs Fox would have such beautiful long flowing hair to flick back and forth showing off all the Highlights of her gorgeous locks. And I could see Mr Fox coming along side of the Mrs and with his long curvy tongue using long licks to put in place her beautiful long flowing locks.
LICKS0 -
They do make a goregou pair. The golden flecks in their locks reminds me of the golden deliciousness of cheese on top of a "slice" of pizza.
SLICE1 -
What a beautiful pair they will be. Their hair has golden glints in it that reminds me of the delicious melted cheese on a "slice" of pizza.
SLICE1 -
A slice of pizza? Now I am hungry! Can we order some pizza before we do the show? I'll slide on down to the pizza shop if you like?
SLIDE1 -
If you slide over to get the pizza, be sure that you watch out for traffic. You may be able to "glide" gracefully but drivers are not always as graceful as you are.
GLIDE1 -
Susan as you slide and glide through traffic keep a look out for the "glade" where I hear there is a nice salad place to get something healthy to go with our pizza.
GLADE1 -
Oh yes, the Glade is a great place to get a slice of pizza. I’m with Susan, just thinking about pizza makes me so hungry! We need to be careful as we glide and slide through the traffic as there is a sharp blade across the road to stop speeding cars passing down the freeway. Wouldn’t want to see anyone hurt with a sharp Blade!
BLADE0 -
The Glade has salads as well as pizza? I'm all for that! I will slide and glide to avoid the blade and get us what we all want for lunch. I do not want anyone to blame me if I get the order wrong, so I am going to write your orders down.
BLAME
1 -
Oh yes, I want to be sure I get what I ordered so writing it down will be very helpful. If it is too dark for you to see to write, I will light the "flame" in my kerosene lantern to make it brighter in the room.
FLAME1 -
Good plan Linda having a kerosene lamp to light the way and to bring light to our paper so we could write down our order. Just thinking about all that food has made me hungry! I can almost see our Deli and Bakery filled with scrumptious food; like cake with flakes of sprinkles over the generous portion of icing. Oh my just thinking of all those iced cakes waiting for someone to buy and eat. Having said that we should have a “flake” of icing on our piece of cake so we don’t overdo it!
FLAKE0 -
I think I'll give the cake the flick and just stick to salad. I need to he more careful with what I eat. Lol!
FLICK1 -
Salad would be much more healthy to eat than cake but cake can be delicious if it is not too sweet. Maybe that flock of seagulls I saw earlier would like to eat our cake. They seem to be able to eat anyting people throw to them.
FLOCK1 -
Yes even though I suggested cake and a Flake of Sprinkles to decorate it I agree Salad is a much better choice and healthier for we ladies. So it’s Salad for us. Yes the Flock of Sea Gulls we see on the Beach seem to eat pretty much anything.
So let’s gather up all the Cake and Clock the Time Sea Gulls are around the Beach and are the most hungry! This way we can get rid of all the cake so we are not tempted to eat unhealthy!
CLOCK0 -
Get your cameras ready because when the sea gull flocks come to eat our cake there will be a tremendous "clack" of their bills as they gobble down the cake. That would be a picture that we can look at and laugh later but first we need ear plugs to cancel out their noise.
CLACK1 -
Oh, the clack of seagull bills as they eat our cake with gusto would be a sight to see! Glad we will have earplugs, though maybe we could take a video as well as a picture to be reminded of all the squabbling sounds. Who is a crack photographer in our group?
CRACK1 -
We need to make a list of all our talents so we know who can be our specialist in different areas. We already have kept 'track" of the sewers, knitters and crocheters, marathon runners, cake decorators and now we need to know the photographers. I have a camera but can't say that I am good at it yet.
TRACK1 -
Yes, we sure are a talented bunch! Good idea to keep track of our skills, Linda. Maybe we could make a tract with all our skills listed, so it would be easier to fold and slip into our colourful bags for handy reference. Please add super secretarial skills to your column.
TRACT1 -
Susan - I learned secretarial skills from my last job as a Resident Assessment Coordinator trying to keep everything organized with four other departments working together. I found that giving them rewards for doing well helped. They especially liked my "tarts".
TARTS1 -
Linda, great skills transfer and I would work for tarts too! I would love to see carts of your tarts all lined up as rewards for everyone!
CARTS1 -
The carts of my tarts would be pretty but back to the calories that we were avoiding from the cake the tarts also have a lot of calories. I think just looking at the tarts in my case would be the "smart" thing to do rather than devouring them as the gulls did the cake.
"SMART"0 -
Yes, let's be smart and become Cart decorators with the tarts instead of eating them. I will bring my camera and we can take some pictures for the local newspaper. I am sure our activity w I uld count as a local event! We'll be stars!
STARS0 -
Indeed I would love to see these Carts of Tarts, yum yum yummy 😋
And I took a Business course before Nursing as my dear Mom was a Medical Staff Secretary for 2 large hospitals back East where we lived before BC. I have done secretarial work but my first choice is Medical!
However thinking of all the consumption of Tarts I am thinking of all the “Music” we ladies will be playing) with all the “Gas” we will need to get rid of like all the FARTS we will have, dear me, sorry ladies couldn’t resist as I went through the alphabet and came to letter F and all I could think of was farts…..😂😆😳
“FARTS”0 -
If we can not control our digestive system, the "staff" that was helping us bake the tarts might go home. We not not want to have to clean up all by ourselves. That would be very inconvenient!1
-
That sure would Linda, very inconvenient, so I guess we will need to use self control and eat the tarts in moderation so we are not letting off Gas all over the restaurant! We do not want to see the STAFF leave us alone. Let’s Stage a Plan to eat less tarts so we have plenty of help in cleaning up!
STAGE0 -
Moderation is always the best thing to do. We want the area to smell pleasant. That is why I put up a no-smoking sign around our area. The only other smell that is worse than a "stoge" is a skunk in my opinion.
STOGE1 -
LOL! You girls! I would have to abstain from fruit tarts with gluten pastry anyway or the music would be thunderous! I would be on the hunt for a store with FODMAPS friendly food. No offence, Linda, but my food intolerances make me have to do that!
STORE1 -
Yes I understand about food intolerances and how they react to a body when eating the wrong types of food, yes it would be thunderous as you say, we sure would be making music, hehe 😜
Actually all around us would be Stormy!
And we don’t need a STORM…
STORM0 -
My son is doing the FODMAPS diet and we are trying to do foods that he can eat for our holiday meals. It has limited us quite a lot from our usual foods but we are glad to do it so he can join in with us. When I have intestinal distress from food intolerances, my abdomin can get rather bloated and swollen. If someone looked at me they might think I was expecting the "stork" to visit soon. I assure you that my body is done with that at my age.
STORK1 -
Now that the image of a stork in a storm has come to mind, I am struck by it! Here's a stock photo of a stork in a storm.
