Colin needs prayer. His GP appointment yesterday revealed he has heart failure and two leaking valves. The GP didn't want to prescribe him anything new, preferring the Cardiologist do that. We have to wait our turn with the specialist. Meanwhile he is to live quietly, not exercise, lift or even walk far, wear compression stockings for the swelling (he has gained 5kg this month from fluid retention) and not eat salt. There is no surgery for this and because of the leaking valves, he probably isn't a candidate for a pacemaker. We're in new territory for us, friends. Please pray for him to get the help he needs soon and for us to wait patiently on the Lord for Him to reveal His will in this.1 -

Thank you for the update on Colin Susan. I am so sorry to hear about the leaking heart valves and heart failure. I am praying for God’s Strength and Peace to flow over you both. We are family and are standing with you Susan trusting God for His Will to be done and for His Healing. Hope you will get an appointment soon with the Cardiologist. 🙏❤️1

Heavenly Father,
We lift up Colin and Susan to You in this recent health challenge. Lord, we pray for Colin, asking for Your healing hand to strengthen his heart and guide the specialists who will care for him. Please open doors for timely medical help and a medical team with the wisdom to manage and improve his condition. Give them encouragement as they see your perfect timing unfold.
Surround them with help from their community family physically, emotionally and spiritually. Keep them comfortable in challenging weather conditions.
Give Colin peace and comfort as he adjusts to new limitations, and surround him with Your presence in moments of weariness. Bless Susan with strength, patience, and hope as she supports Colin and adds extra work to her day.
Father, may they feel Your love and assurance each step of the way. In Jesus' name, Amen

Updates.

I believe I told you that my Surgeon referred me to a Head and Neck Oncology Surgeon to check my neck as he had felt lumps there and wanted him to check them as well. On the Saturday I saw him it was outside of his regular office hours; after he examined me he said I needed an ultrasound of the neck. He put an order in to VGH. That was 2 weeks ago and I’m still waiting to hear from them for a day and time for the Ultrasound.
Wednesday January 22nd
I saw a Dermo-Oncology Specialist who does Laser Surgery when there is a difficult disease that persists like mine. The lower face and lip that is possibly a rare disease that has been troublesome as the treatments so far haven’t helped. At one point they named the lower face and lip disease as Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Basil Cell Carcinoma but they are not entirely sure due to other tests that have come back as inconclusive. When I saw this specialist he said he wanted a Biopsy as he needed to know what he is dealing with as right now he’s unsure if Laser is the right treatment for me and is hoping the Biopsy results will bring some guidance so a correct treatment can be found so he sent a note to my present Surgeon asking for a Biopsy to be done.
Please Note:
Just to clarify: the upper Left side of face and lip has already been diagnosed with Malignant Spreading type Melanoma.
The lower face and lip is a (New Disease)
Thursday January 23rd
I saw my Surgeon who was removing the diseased tissue/skin which caused bleeding, he had to stop the procedure and said the Biopsy would have to be moved to the Day Outpatient Surgery as I needed monitoring. On this Monday my Surgeon’s clinic is calling to discuss the Procedure that needs finishing and the Biopsy. I should know what day this week the Biopsy will be done and when the Surgical procedure will be completed.
I will update you once I know further. God is Good and He is watching over me. I know I will be completely healed to the Glory of God! ✝️

Heavenly Father, Holy God, our Great Physician...we bring you our burdens. Judith has endured an uncertain diagnosis and call back delays from her medical team. We pray that she will be moved to the top of the list for quality medical care…that her physicians will work hard to heal her with your guidance, that they will go above and beyond to help her even calling on experts for consultations beyond their immediate circle and use Wisdom from you for every next step.…she has been patient and cooperative and has endured discomfort day after day. We need you to help and heal our Sister, Lord…over and above what we cannot even think to pray for….in Jesus Name we thank you for all you have done and will be doing for Judith's whole health, Amen and Amen. 🙏❤️3

Heavenly Father,
We come to you with heavy hearts, lifting up Susan and Colin who are in the midst of a family crisis. You know the details of their situation, the emotional pain and their longing for a way to move forward in peace with everyone.
We ask for your wisdom, clarity of mind and strength as they seek the best way to interact. Guide their steps and give them your words, your love and comfort and remind them that they are not alone on this journey. Surround everyone with your Love.
We continue to lift up Colin to you with his physical issues and let not this current situation disrupt plans for his medical needs nor let it affect his health or Susan’s in a negative way. Keep them strong and healthy in body mind and Spirit.
Lord, bring healing and reconciliation to the whole family, let there be unity, and healthy communication.

Please pray for HH. It takes long time to feed, Annabella. Some if it I believe is HH diet. Sheets a lot of gassy foods ie spinach & broccoli I could not eat those or gassy foods. As when nursing what you eating
Your milk. So nursing Annabella takes a long time plus she cries a lot. She spits up & needs burping a lot.
It can take 3-4 months for Annabella esophagus to heal which doesn’t help either.

Heavenly Father we lift up HH to you and baby Annabella...please help HH adhere to a diet that will benefit both herself and her baby’s feeding. And if appropriate, guide her to a helpful nursing mother's group or advocate who will work with her personally. Lord please continue to lay your healing hand on Annabellas body, her esophagus and any parts that cause her discomfort. Lord this is a stressful time for new mothers and family members...please shower them with your peace that surpasses all understanding now and in the days ahead...thank-you Father for all you have done and are doing in this beautiful family. A new prayer request. I stubbed my baby toe on right foot, while watching Mariposa. (I hit my toe on their archway.)
Please pray I can wear shoes as our snow is all GONE! PTL on that!!!
So I don’t need to wear my boots.
I have several pairs of shoes, so I hope & pray one pair will work & not hurt.
I’ll enclose pic of my toe.

Heavenly Father, we ask for your healing touch on Barb’s injured toe. Please relieve her of any pain or discomfort esp when wearing shoes. Help her to choose the footwear that will provide comfort and protection. Give her wisdom on how to take care of her injury with the best possible outcome. In Jesus Name, Amen.❤️🙏2

I could wear my loafers. My ankle boots hurt me.
I taped the baby toe to next door toe.
Snow pretty much gone PT L. So 1/5-1/31 snow.

Evening All
I spoke to Surgeon’s office several times the last 2 days, and initially given 2 dates.
First they said I would have biopsy on February 20th.
Then You all Prayed and my Surgeon called, he had a (cancellation) and gave me February 13th at 3:00pm for my Biopsy! Praise God!
God moved the Mountains and gave me an earlier date to have the Biopsy. God is Good!
I am still waiting on the Neck Ultrasound. I believe God will intervene again and provide a date for the Neck Ultrasound.

Barb, praying about your toe. So sorry to hear of the loss of life un the plane crashes.
Praise God, Colin has lost 6kgs in water weight and feels and looks better. The GP gave him diuretic tablets for 1 week. He still needs a Cardiologist to see him after his tests and give him medication that will help long term.1 -
