Susan, brings tears to my eyes, I can almost see that tear rolling down Joe’s cheek before he passed. He is now in the presence of Jesus! He has been welcomed home and heard the precious words Jesus would have spoken to Joe,

That is so special that Colin was able to speak to Pastor Joe before he passed. The last sense to leave is hearing and it was obvious that he understood what Colin was saying. We will continue to pray for Eileen as she starts her new normal as a widow.

You are right, hearing is the last sense to go. Colin was very privileged to be with Joe and Eileen at his passing. Thank you for praying for newly widowed Eileen.
May I add Greg to our list too. He is struggling with the sudden death of his only brother.

Yes us the last sense to go. My mom, honesty be a hospice nurse told me that.

They are performing an autopsy on Greg's brother. It's a stressful time for Greg who is also sorting through his brother's belongings.

I’m asking for prayer for tomorrow, it’s my 2 week follow up with my Surgeon at VGH, I am also discussing with him the referral he made for Dental Oncology at VGH for Mouth and Jaw issues related to my cancer complications. He will remove the diseased tissue and skin depending on how deep he can go with the removal without causing too much trauma or a bleed out!
I am also trying to get earlier follow up appointments with my Derma Oncologist and Oral Oncologist at the Cancer Clinic. I am hoping to get into see them next week or beginning of November. The. Meds they prescribed need changing as they are not doing their work! Will hopefully be able to follow up with their clinics by Friday to secure a date and time.

Prayers for Judith. Safety there that you won’t be in too much pain. Pus wisdom for drs in knowing how to help you. Prayers for healing.
My mom had the echo today no results yet, but she’s in a lot of pain & Drs are baffled as to why. Please pray they find out the cause of her pain.

Lots of prayers needed. I got my first ever UTI so my bleeding was from blood in urine and not my uterus. I need to cancel gynecologist appointment.

Sounds like my mom may be released tomorrow when all the help ,is closed. Cher is trying to get some help. We may need to get assisted living. I can’t really help with having started macula treatment. Plus got 3. Please pray

Please pray for 3 to break his PR, personal record. Otherwise he maybebdone with his therapy when in a plateau they stop. Also HH didn’t respond to having a family meeting due to colds. Sickness so that does not look good pray please. Please God help them.

Today 3 walked with his cane and he lakes it a bit shorter than he has, maybe due to being tired, as Monday he had a bday celebration & he stayed up to watch the 18 inning game with Dodgers and Toronto Yet he told I that his OT informed him, that she saw a lot of improvements with him including his balance PTL I guess he hasn’t had her for some time and she saw improvements yeah! God is good!
bday celebration a supper and movie 2 friends took him to. HH arranged it all. Such a nice gift.3 -

Please pray as 3 may have plateau and they think his brain needs some more healing. Probably due to his double vision. They would like to see 3 in three months, or so. He can fall easily and that would do more damage. They like 3 to help around the house more, & HH is to come up with a list of a schedule or such That will That will be hard as she stays up till 4 doing what over, and has 2 girls. (PTL she will be done nursing, next month as Annabella turns 1 12/6. )
I suggested to Louise, his aunt, who help us, that we take him shopping he uses a shopping cart and that I one thing they at his therapy suggested too. HH wondering bout a care giver please pray. So,done has to be with him so he does t fall like doing the wash etc.

The Following appointments are Follow-up, Treatment & Surgical in-clinic Procedures regarding the Cancer complications related to Mouth Jaw Face & Lips. There will also be a Medication change, please pray no side effects and the treatment will be effective, thank you.
November 12th with Oral Oncologist @ Cancer Clinic Vancouver
November 17th @ VGH with Surgeon
November 21st with Derma-Oncologist @ Cancer Clinic Vancouver
I am still on the Wait List for the Nerve Conduction Tests and to get into see the VGH Dental Oncology Clinic as they are the ones who can do Surgical procedures related to Mouth & Jaw.

please continue to pray for 3 to get his balance especially after this week, with no therapy other than what we give him los maybe that he could see the Neuro ophthalmologist before February.

Hello All
I have an update from my two appointments, Wednesday November 12th with my Oral Oncologist and Monday November 17th with my Facial- Cranial Surgeon!
On Wednesday I had a Full Facial Mouth Neck scan. My Oncologist is concerned that the Diseased tissue and Skin is developing quickly and covering both upper and Lower Lips. I also have a severe infection from the reaction from the Steroids that are in some of my meds that are supposed to slow down and kill the Cell formation.
I have been told to stop 2 of the meds that have Steroids. I have been put on antibiotics for 2 weeks. I was referred back to my Surgeon for follow up and prescribe the antibiotic that he feels is the best one for me.
I had my appointment with my Surgeon, he wasn’t able to remove any of the diseased tissue and skin as he said with the inflammation and swelling it would only make matters worse. I am to use ice packs to bring down swelling & warm compresses to hopefully loosen some of the hard plaques on the lips.
He also said he is thinking it might mean surgery in the new year to Excise both lips and remove the disease and then reconstruct & rebuild the lips and do skin grafting.
He has written notes and a report to both Oncologist’s to see how they respond with the idea of major surgery!
He has tried removing the disease but its surface right across both lips and it’s not working along with the meds that were supposed to kill the disease.
This is where I stand now!
I see my Derma Oncologist Friday the 21st then back to see my Oral Oncologist on Wednesday November 26th. December 4th I’m back to see my Surgeon.
