Appreciate everyone’s Prayer Support…..you all are so kind and your Love, Support and Friendship is such a blessing to me.
I had two appointments on August 13th at the Cancer Clinic.
1. First Appointment was a CT Scan of my Neck, Face and Head.
2. Second Appointment I saw my Oral Oncologist.My Oncologist examined my Face, Lips and Mouth. From this appointment 3 Prescriptions were ordered.
2 Liquid and 1 Cream. I am to continue to see my Surgeon at VGH for follow-up care. Continue on with the Chemotherapy based med for the face and lips.I am to use the Liquids to treat the inside of mouth and lips, the Cream is to be applied to the face, jaw line area and upper and lower lips. I am back in 1 month for follow up care.
For the CT Scan I will be getting the results of the Scan tomorrow, August 21st as I see my Neurologist who ordered the CT Scan.
Friday August 22 I have my Malignant Melanoma Follow up and Facial Scan appointment with my Lead Oncologist. This appointment will discuss the medications and scans telling me how effective they have been and possibly what other recommendations he might have for further and or ongoing treatment.
Please pray that the New Prescriptions will be effective and for good reports from the CT Scan.
I will keep you in the loop as I am able.God is Good, throughout this journey I have known God’s Strength, His Comfort and His Peace. God is the One who is Sustaining me through each day. He is the Great Physician who is Healing me.
I thank God for the Wisdom and Guidance He is giving all my Specialists who are caring for me. God is Good!

Thank you for all your prayers. Sorry all but I am pouring out my heart here about Medical Costs I have out of pocket monthly.
My Oncologist ordered more meds and canceled others, One med is on hold as the cost is $82.00 total, I have to call my Oncologist at Cancer Clinic and see if he can prescribe another cream as this particular med is never covered. The other med has to be especially made up and I have to pay almost $50.00. The other med that was previously not approved has finally been approved and the costs are completely covered. Praise God! So on Wednesday both meds will be delivered to me with me paying out of pocket a total of $50.00. Just 1 week ago I paid $40.00 for one med and thankfully the other med was fully covered.
To give you an example of my Out of Pocket Meds I paid: $35.00+$40.00+$50.00=$125.00 total: this was for Cancer Meds and Nerve Damage meds prescribed: every month I put out $35.00 total for Nerve Damage meds. Monthly Cancer Meds are $90.00 per month total. And then I have Monthly costs for Medical Supplies, other Meds not covered so I am looking at over $200.00 plus dollars every month. You can see why I just can’t add another $82.00 to the mix.
This has been really hard on me with all the meds and medical supplies I have had to pay out of pocket. Would appreciate your prayers. Will be calling the Cancer Clinic and request my Oncologist to prescribe another Cream that would replace the cream that costs $82.00 which I just can’t put anymore money out of pocket. Praying for God’s Favor with my Oncologist!My CT Scan is not good, the radiologist and my Neurologist said I need to have a series of Nerve conduction studies done. The Multiple Surgeries for Malignant Melanoma Cancer have further damaged the Nerves from side of face into the neck, which has caused numbness and tingling down the right side of body from neck, into right arm. They need more tests to determine a proper diagnosis so they can treat the Damaged Nerves properly.
This brings you up to date. Thank you all for your valued friendship love support and many prayers in which I thank God.
Bottom line: God is Good, He is watching over me and I know He will heal me completely. I just need to be patient. God’s Timing is always perfect! ❤️🙏✝️

When I get an inhaler that I use when I have a cold so I don’t get bronchitis I get it with Good RX it makes it a lot cheaper for me, do, you have that in Canada? 🙏🏻1 -
All we have Barb is Pharmacare, the Cancer Clinic told be to apply for it as I would get a lot of meds covered and at better prices. I was getting a lot of meds covered and better prices but like everything these days the cost of living has gone way up. At end of year I get a break as I have put in a lot of money paying for prescriptions then I get some meds reduced cost. However with Prescriptions from Cancer Clinic they are a speciality med so they are rarely covered; but when I do get a coverage it’s awesome, all I can do is leave it in God’s Hands. He supplies and provides for my needs. God is God! ♥️✝️

Hi Everyone, here is my update:
Last Thursday I saw my Surgeon at VGH for follow up and for diseased skin to be removed. The week before my Surgeon was unable to remove any of the diseased cells that had formed over my upper and lower lips due to raw skin and his concern of me having a bleed out. So he had me come back last week.
He found the same situation with raw tissue and skin underneath the new Cell formation that had covered both upper and lower lips. My Surgeon said if he proceeded ahead it would cause a bleed out.
He asked me to come back in 2 weeks in hopes the raw tissue would heal so he could remove the diseased tissue and skin. I was told to keep up with the medications that were prescribed.
The appointment was made but in the meantime due to emergencies my September 25th appointment was cancelled and re-booked to see him October 2nd.
Monday morning I received a call from VGH. They told me the Clinic has been closed down for 3 weeks with the remainder of September closed due to emergencies and I couldn’t be seen until Thursday October 9th.
They told me if the excess cell formation got out of hand to call the Clinic and they would bring me in to see another surgeon.
What is concerning is by the time I see my Surgeon it will be over a month since I have had diseased tissue removed due to having an infection then 2 appointments with raw tissue found that no procedures could be done.
I will be honest, it is frustrating but thru it all I am keeping my eyes on Jesus and know He is the One who will carry me through.

P.S. I came back as I forgot to let you know of two more appointments I have next week.
On Tuesday September 23rd I have a Telephone follow up appointment with my Neurosurgeon regarding CT Scan results and what tests and treatment will be recommended.
On Wednesday September 24th I am back to the Cancer Clinic for follow up with my Oral Oncologist and will have a medication & Treatment review.

Oh Judith. Praying. Healing and especially that you can get rid of the diseased tissue & no infection due to the long wait.

Update:
My sister Cher, made it home at her 3 AM, My mom, Carolyn is admitted and will have tests on her gallbladder. So that may be the root of all her pain. Not sure why it took 2 times in ER to find it.
So please pray. Cher, has a brain MRI on Monday, 9/29,which mymom deosn't know about. It maybe her pituatary gland a tumor. Then I have a MRI on my thyroid 10/6, for the nodule they found on my thyroid.

My mom, Carolyn Pollock, will have laparoscopic surgery to remove her gallbladder tomorrow morning.
jeepmpraying for Harry 3 with his cold we got more over counter meds for him. So hoping with the weekend he gets the rest he needs.
Also pray that HH does t get it. She is not one not to get enough sleep or take meds. 3 has no voice today.

My mom’s surgery was successful. The surgeon saw some scared tissuenwhichncouodmhave caused her the pain she had. He also will not release her before she can take care of herself and on solid foods. So that is good.
All have colds at 3’s house but HH. Please pray the colds get better. Plus HH seems not to get enough sleep, & she is the care giver. HH also won’t take over the counter meds. Prayers appreciated. Thank you too2 -
Praise God your Mom’s surgery was successful. This is great news to hear. This is good to hear your Mom won’t be released from hospital until she is eating solid food and can look after herself.
So sorry to hear that Harry3’s household have colds except for HH. Praying protection over the household and that HH will be protected from a cold.

My mom has pain, I got a cold, sore throat and congestion. Blake fell,down steps at a friends house last night and his tooth went through his lip. No stitches but quite swollen.
Cher, sister will have a brain MRI, tomorrow to see if she has a brain tumor in her pituitary gland. This is where Martin, Laura story’s husband had his.2 -
The MRI my sister, Cher her had showed no tumor. Guess she was born with whatever they found in her optic nerve. PTL
I have my MRI next week, Monday.

Praise God, no tumor found! I rejoice with you Barb that there is no tumor on the Brain. So what was said about the Optic Nerve?

Harry 3 PR in PT, PR is personal record, so he broke 3 in PT. Good job 3. He gets his stickers for his double vision tomorrow & will have blood drawn for blood tests his dr wants.

Barb I am rejoicing in the great strides Harry3 is making in Physio. He has come along ways,step by step we are seeing God’s Healing in Harry3. Praying his Blood work comes back as good report and his eye sight is greatly improved with the help of new glasses. God is Good! 🙏✝️

Hello All
As you know my Surgeon’s clinic was shut down for 3 weeks. It’s open now and my next appointment with my Surgeon is on Thursday October 9th. I will continue on the schedule to be seen by my Surgeon every 2 to 3 weeks.
Here are the Following updates from my Crania-Facial Surgeon, Neurologist, Neurosurgeon, Oral Oncologist and Derma Oncologist
I saw my Neurologist on September 23rd who joined my Neurosurgeon to discuss the CT Scan results. There is further Nerve damage to the neck that is causing numbing and tingling that radiates down from neck to right arm and hand. Physical tests show decreased strength in those areas. Both Specialists recommended Nerve Conduction Tests. I was referred to that Clinic.
My Neurosurgeon also said I need further tests besides the nerve conduction to further evaluate the areas and make sure there are no pinched nerves or anything else. This will help him to better diagnose and treat the areas.
The clinic contacted me and I was told to be looking at November that I would hear from them to book the appointment, but said it could take longer.September 24th I was seen by my Oral Oncologist and I was told they couldn’t do anything more for me other than continue to follow up and prescribe needed medications and sad I will be referred to the VGH Dental Clinic as I will need procedures and surgery that they can only do. I was told to continue with the meds but 1 of the topicals was stopped but oral meds are continued.
I have since received a call and same situation, put on wait list and it would take a few month before being seen.
I saw my Derma Oncologist and he prescribed new medications. I will be on them for 2 months and be back for follow up in 2 months.
Please pray that the right treatment will be found. And with all this going on, the issues with my Jaw & Mouth are still not being addressed properly. I was told they can’t be looked after until I get into VGH Dental clinic.
Thank you for your prayers. I know the Lord is watching over me and has all this covered. God is Good! I know He is leading me towards complete Healing! Then we all can rejoice and Praise God together! 🙏

Thank you all for praying for our friend, Pastor Joe. He has now passed into glory. Colin and Eileen were with him. Joe's last words were with Colin, (Colin whispered them to Joe who never regained consciousness) "I will soon be in heaven with you, too". Joe heard these words as a single tear slipped down his face. Then he was gone...
