    Since Christmas and into the New Year we have had bitterly cold weather, windy gusts, mega snow, hail, freezing rain, we've had it all, today we are under a heavy rainfall warning with temps of 8 degrees.

    Hot and steamy here. It is officially 33C (91.4F) but it feels like 42C (107.6F) due to the humidity. The skies are full of volcanic ash from the Tongan Volcanic eruption.

    Linda, what lovely weather for you, what O used to call sweater weather!

    The volcanic ash is still hazing the sky here. It really does look like bushfires but with a fainter, different smell. It's only going to feel like 37C today which is at least more comfortable. It's muggy of course.

    You fortunate people having such balmy weather. Here in my part of Canada the temperature as I post this is 37F and feels like 34F - and the snow is starting to melt. Here on the west coast we just got through a bad time of extreme cold and lots of snow and now the east coast is getting it Looking forward to March / April when we will get up to the 50F+ weather

    Today we are having a drizzle that is turning into ice on the roads. It will turn to snow this afternoon but not a lot - maybe an inch is what is predicted. It is 27F and will stay below freezing all day.

    It is 30F and the sun is shining on the icy roads so they are getting gradually. More Snow is predicted tomorrow.

    It rained overnight and is cloudy today. The temperature is slightly nicer as a result. It's 30C (86F) right now but feels like 35C (95C).

    The fog is gone but it is still cloudy, There is a winter advisory out today for snow tonight. We are still below freezing today at noon.
