    It is 34F (1.1C) now with with high humidity from the snow melting, it feels like 28F (-2.2C). Our low will be 23F (-5C) tonight. It is a good day to stay inside in front of the fireplace!

    The Weather Alert was correct as our local News Station Metrologist gave us a true report of our current status:

    Snow is coming by this afternoon, temps have plummeted downward and this mornings temps were in the minus: We are currently 4 degrees but with wind chill it is -11 degrees; we have arctic type cold winds that is making it colder.

    Good Morning 🌅 Here is an update of our current Weather and Temperatures! We are still under a Weather Alert 🚨

    We are in a Winter Arctic Chill, many areas have snow, icy icy roads everywhere. Our temperatures are minus -14 with Wind Chill that varies from minus -21-24 in my area. It is freezing cold here. Please be careful out on the roads, if you don’t have to be out there stay indoors and stay as warm as possible. Stay safe, use due care if you are driving on the icy roads. Frostbite and hyperthermia is a risk for those outdoors. Please dress appropriately and protect yourself! ❄️🥶

    Partly cloudy sky today. we have a high of 45F (7.2C) today and a low of 30F (-1.1C). I pray for those who are getting the Artic chill to be safe. It is -6F (-21C) in Denver where our children live.

    The last few mornings I have wakened to -14 degree temps, so icy cold 🥶 out there.

    Sunday Morning Blessings

    Today in my area we have temps of -11 degrees with an Arctic wind chill of -20.

    We are all at risk for Frost bite and hyperthermia. Please be careful when outdoors as any exposed skin is at risk for frost bite within seconds.

    Judith - I am so sorry for your frigid weather. I feel like we are having a heat wave when I say that our high is 46F (C) and low of 30F (C). It is a little warmer in Denver than it has been and we will be going into that weather on Tuesday. Today they have a high of 7F (C) and a low of -2F (-18.8C).

    Thank you Linda for your concern and kindness. With temps this morning at -11 degrees yes it was was icy cold 🥶 but at least it wasn’t as cold as the last few days. The forecast said it would warm up by Monday. Here’s hoping.
    I’m praying for safety as you cross the Mountain roads and passes as you travel to Denver to be with your daughter on Tuesday! 🙏

    We have a Weather alert for Snow coming tonight thru to Wednesday. Our temps are cold 🥶 but some warmer than they were. Will give you the temps and forecast in the morning.

    It is a little warmer here in Denver than it was last week. It was 17F (-8.3C) as we drove through the mountins but it is 27F (-2.7C) here at 11pm now.

    Today we woke to more snow, forecast says 10 to 20cm of snow today or more. Temps are -4 degrees and it’s icy cold 🥶 we have our portable heaters running! ❄️

    We had a few flakes of snow yesterday but it did not last long. It is a little cooler today with the high only 30F (-1.1C) and the low of 18F (-7.7C).

    So thankful no flash flooding Susan..

    Catching up, this gives you an idea what has been going on here. Many homes lost power, thankfully my power stayed on!

    On Thursday night we had another Weather Alert that we were getting Freezing rain overnight into Friday; then temps would rise and it would continue to rain.

    With cold temps at night and warming up later, now with all the snow and ice melting we are subject to flooding. What a mess out there.

    In spite of the rain today my front yard is not accessible as too much snow on ramp leading to yard, gate and yard packed with snow.

    My friend who dropped off groceries had to access my condo via building entrance, he said it will take days to melt. We had 30cm of snow in our area so you get the picture, hopefully snow will melt quickly with no flooding.

    Good morning!

    The temperature in Hadspen is supposed to be 16.8C (62.24F) today but feels like 12C (53.6). I know that is warm for some of you but to me it's cold! Summer in Qld is much warmer at 37C (98.6F) today. It's only supposed to get to 19C (66.2F) here today.

    Thank you Susan, we have had mix of Freezing rain and regular rain; at night it get cold and things freeze up but daytime it warms up some. No floods in my area, Praise God

    Temps 1 degree tonight and first time in a long time we are hitting 5 degrees in the morning at least that’s the forecast for us!

    Your winters sure are cold, Judith and Linda. Tasmania doesn't get that cold in winter but they do have snow and ice. Everyone seems to have heating of some sort while in Queensland the focus is on cooling. Tasmanian summers are rarely warm enough for swimming but the sun is quite strong when temps get a bit warmer. You can get burned through your clothes some days. This week, that's not a worry.
