We have been give an alert that we are in for a weather change with high temps from Friday to next week, unusual temps for this time of year. So from being cold temps from 48 degrees and usually nothing over mid 50’s and 60’s we are facing high 80’s and 90’s. And just over night! It was hot today and sunny, I didn’t get the temps but will report it all tomorrow with long range forecast for you.0 -

Overcast with a few rain sprinkles High of 63F (17.2C)and low of 45F (7.2C) The water in the Colorado River is still pretty muddy from the snow melting on the peaks. Our irrigation water comes from this river and the plants have muddy spots on the leaves.1

We are in a Major Heat Wave: And it’s Still Spring Season!
Environment Canada issued a warning stating Heat wave would continue, it will continue from Friday May 12 to Wednesday May 17th. Told us to be careful and stay safe and keep well hydrated.
Widespread daily maximum records of high temps are likely to be broken.
Today it was hot and sunny all day, from Morning to Sundown. Forecast says our temps are 10 to 15 degrees above seasonal temps for mid May.
We were 91 degrees Fahrenheit, and it’s expected to be this hot for the weekend and forecast says to expect even higher temps.
My kids came tonight installed my AC and put my Patio and Garden furniture up in my yard complete with Umbrella’s to help keep the Sun off the siding and from penetrating through my blinds. I live on the sunny side of the street.0 -

So far we are not having a heat wave but it might come to us later since we are East of where you live and weather comes to us later than you, Judith. It is 10 degrees higher in Grand Junction today than here in Denver.

It was really beautiful this afternoon with the temperatures in the 70's when we went to lunch but this evening it is cooling down and rain is predicted. I am hearing thunder far away but don't know if it will pass us by or come nearer.1

Glad you are both having lovely weather now, Judith and Linda. Our days are lovely here this week too, though Monday night we had thunder and lightning and heavy rain in the evening.
