Today is another special recognition day.
We want to congratulate our UAC Champions. These are the members who consistently post and stay accountable within the UAC regardless of their number of Pass Days. Being accountable for one’s daily exercise, calorie goals and logging are foundations for developing healthy habits. Congratulations to the following:

Personal goals for October 2021:
1. Plan to be in winners circle (track everything as expected in this UAC)
2. Not more than 3 pass days
3. Stay honest (even if it puts me out of the circle for the month)
4. Maintain the habits of "kitchen close"
5. Create a habit of not eating more than 1 serving of nuts. "Don't go nuts" - I am getting a handle on this goal. But will continue to maintain it!
6. I will like to work on not going over my micro for sugar for the day. This means I need to work on the fruits I eat since most of my sugar come from my fruits.
5. Forgive my mistakes (forgive myself) and don't leave the UAC for this month even if I failed
6. Encourage others where possible.8 -
Exercise – yes – 30 minute bike ride, 20 minute brisk walk plus cardio.
Tracked – yes
Calories – yes.
Thankyou for the reminder @Mrs_Hoffer - perseverance is the key – just keep going.
I doubt I shall manage the winners circle this month as I have another holiday coming up. Perhaps I will do better at estimating my food this time. I did gain a pound or two on the last break and I don’t want to do that again, that’s how I gained weight in 2015-2017.

Exercise:
OOF, today was my 8 mile run--last long run before the 15k next Sunday. Now I am just going into rest mode, protecting my body, and eating a bit more. I have done all I can do. Today was rough toward the end--my blood sugar evidently crashed, which scares me for next Sunday. I am not sure how to deal with that. I have been spent all day, vs. last Sunday when I ran 7 miles and bounded up the stairs afterward to get my son to go hiking. Wow, running is so complicated.

@bradkcrew - Trust me, you got this! There is a cliche among runners that applies here... The hay is in the barn ...You have put in the proper due effort to train for a new distance. It was hard. You did all you needed to prepare. Now REST as you planned. That is key right now. Next weekend your body will be primed to perform.

Thank you so much!!!!!!2 -
I did 10 mins on the elliptical in addition to stretching and mindfulness. tracked and have stayed in the range. No sugar today. I did try to make something with monkfruit as a substitute and cannot stand it. I'd rather do without!5

Congrats to all those who made the September Winners' Circle and to those who remained Champions for the month!!
Yes x 3 for me today! A little strategic planning was necessary though: lunch was just a protein coffee in order to save enough calorie budget to finish my Thai food leftovers. *sigh* A gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do!6
