Triple NO. Should probably call it a quadruple...quintuple even! 🤪
NSV is this post.
Your focus on staying in UAC during your healing time is amazing. That post is a NSV for sure!
@jamcnewman - You should seriously look into ThredUp for a new wardrobe! And yes, underwear falling down in your pants is THE WORST!
@Mrs_Hoffer - I envy your confidence weighing yourself with pajamas on. I hope to join you there some day! LOL.5 -
Three yeses. Did a 4 mile run. NSV for yesterday in particular - my kiddo had a bad reaction to a new medication we gave him before bed to help him sleep (doc said it's what they put kids with ADHD on to help them wind down for the night). It made him dizzy and triggered his motion sickness, so mom got zero sleep Sunday night and instead cleaned up a bunch of vomit - but still got up and ran 4 miles Monday morning! Woohoo! (I'm patting myself on the back WAY TOO MUCH for this. LOL.) Also, we are not giving him that medicine again. Nope. Sorry doc.
NSV over all is probably a weird one, and may come across as me kind of settling but mentally it's a good one for me. I was a swimmer for years, and I am built like a swimmer. Slim hips, little waist definition, shoulders that ensure I can lift a couch by myself. I never wore dresses when I was younger, but in the past decade I realized how much I love them and basically have nothing but dresses. But... but... I'm hitting the weight loss point where my less-fat belly is smaller than my shoulders and as I slim down further I realize why I never wore dresses when I was young... Shoulders + boobs > Hips. By a lot. I will never get smaller than a 12-14 if it has to zip up past my bra line on top, and I'm a 10 bordering on 8 on the bottom. I'm on this dress hunt I mentioned previously and I quite literally have ordered and returned 13 dresses because either they fit the bottom half of me well and I have to wear a sports bra that completely flattens my chest to me able to move my arms in it - or it zips to my bra line and will go no further. So the other day I was like... why the hell am I insisting on buying a 10 to bolster my ego? Or even a 12? I should get to wear a dress AND a bra that is actually flattering. So, I ordered a size 14. I will take it to a tailor and have the bottom adjusted so it looks nice. Most importantly, I will stop trying to change my body to fit in clothes and just ignore the sizes and change the clothes to fit my body. And I'll move furniture by myself, because I'm strong and I can.
This probably makes no sense to anyone but me but... there you have it. I really don't make sense most times. LOL.13 -

✅✅✅ posting early, but expect this outcome based on the day so far. Will come back to post any change to this.
Oh how I laughed at your NSV @Mrs_Hoffer (and echoed by @ashleycarole86 @biketheworld @enlightenme3 @TerriRichardson112 ) because this is me! Last month I had to head straight to my weigh-in at the doctor’s in the clothes that I was wearing (imagine! 😜). I had a summer “weigh-in” outfit that I would normally change into but there were three car accidents and construction en route to do so — so it was straight to my doctor’s office. I had already called to report my delayed. I will report my NSV when this is no longer an issue for me. 🙃
My NSV is similar to what I reported last month this time —clothes that are too big now. But did I take heed last month? 🙈 Instead I kept wearing them. 🤦🏼♀️ Then struggled with my toasty warm elasticized waist pants falling down MULTIPLE times on my walk with Beau a few days ago. I was cursing myself during the walk for thinking I could keep wearing them. The only thing that saved my dignity was the mid shin length down-filled coat that I was wearing. Oh the feeling of a down jacket on your bare bum (as they took the too loose underpants down with them). Needless to say, I have NOW cleared my underwear and pants drawers of such dangerous items.
Victory! ✌️
Thanks my fellow UACs for all these NSVs
My NSV is that I just returned from a trip where I had no control on the food presented to me. But I made my choices to eat properly and even lose weight when I weighed myself on my return.6 -
✅ Exercise - 1 hour Jazzercise plus an afternoon walk with my daughter
✅ Calories - Salad for lunch and soup for dinner. Kept within calories, but protein was on the low side
✅ Tracking -
Closed all my Apple watch rings today.
4/3 Pass days used
I already posted an NSV earlier, but will add one more. About a month ago I was reorganizing my closet/drawers to rotate in the smaller pants/shorts/skirts in and the larger ones out. I have an "on-deck" drawer that I keep my next size down pants and temporarily store the recently rotated out clothes (with the hopes that those can go to the thrift store when I'm confident that I've truly got this weight loss thing).
I had tried on these jeans that I've had for probably 15 years (or maybe that's when I stopped wearing them?) a month ago and they were a little tight - hence being in the on-deck drawer. This past weekend I decided to pull them out and try them on and they fit great! Downside is they are entirely out of style. I'm really hoping that boot cut jeans make a huge comeback.

Hi @mshawski — I TOTALLY get your NSV and good for you! Yes, ThredUp is on my list (not as great a deal if you live in Canada, don’t get to use any of the promotion codes, can’t sell your things there, and have to pay for shipping). I like you, have a larger on top body, and love dresses. Once I am more confident in what size in each brand I SHOULD be buying, it will be easier to use sites like this. For now, I could shop my own closet as it contains a range of sizes. (I may be joining @enlightenme3 in prayers for the return of boot leg pants), I simply need to get rid of the “comfort wear” things that are honestly too big.
Way to go @victorious55 - that is a big NSV!

I've happily been able to find several bootleg jeans this season via gap and express. That being said, using the 90's as a standard (which is possibly the most dangerous thing one can do LOL) - I've found that the "bootcut" of today is more like the "Straight" of the 90's and the "Flares" of today are what I want when I think lovingly about my old bootcut jeans.
As long as low rise don't come back into style, I'm good. LOL. Low rise *shudder*.4 -
I found my NSV!!! I have been organizing my new craft area!! It has taken forever to get to it! But I am getting it out of my bedroom and making it available! Yay me!!!9

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? ✅
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? ✅
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? ✅4 -
Nov 15 - Catching up on recording in the group: no x 3 today.
Awesome NSV's: congrats to all! Not sure what mine is. I guess I can say that I am getting better at dieting/changing my way of eating. I'm maintaining my Autumn goals of Consistency (yes I fell off for about a week or so but I'm back on the program instead of being off for months) and showing up to report and engage in the UAC.4 -
