Last day of Hanukkah! Thank goodness!

The eighth/last day of Hanukkah started last night, so the holiday ends tonight. All I can say is "thank goodness!" I went to a Hanukkah party last night, sponsored by our local Kollel (in simple terms, a Jewish learning organization), and they brought in so much food! It was really fun, but I couldn't resist the kosher meat (imported from Chicago) which included chili, sausages, some sort of pulled beef, hot dogs, and burgers. There was also decent beer, and there were a few "l'chayims" to be had (with shots of scotch). Plus, someone "made me" eat a donut! Ha ha ha!
There was really good entertainment, too, including an amazing keynote speech.
Now it's time to get back to regular eating/weight-management!
