Stay the course. Those bad calories are in the wire and trying to over run us.

Called into the local RCMP detachment cells at 00:30. Home by 10:00. These short notice long shifts sure help with limiting calories in.

Hi, Farback! It's been good to see you around a bit, here and on the friend-feed side of things (though I'm not very active over there, I admit).

Me, I'm in my (genetic?) annual "Winter means I need a fat layer so crave-y" mode, at least on and off.

It doesn't help that on-water rowing season (and on-trail biking/walking season) is out of the picture (rowing) or reduced (walking) depending on the weather. Yes, I can get out and walk in Winter, bundled up, and sometimes I do. But I've got around 2 miles on the road (with no sidewalks) to reach the local trail system, and I don't feel safe walking on the shoulder in slippery weather next to snow piles that leave little route to get out of the way if I see something huge and metallic heading my way. 🤷‍♀️

Indoor rowing, stationary bike - that's happening. Not as fun as outdoor stuff, though. At least - if I keep up some kind of schedule - I don't have to start conditioning back at square 1 come Spring.

    Happy whatever-holidays-you-celebrate!
