Health Update

So I spent the last 72 hours in the hospital, just got home around 5 last night. I had a procedure called a cardiac ablation scheduled for this past Tuesday afternoon, it was hopefully going to resolve an arythimia that I have been struggling with for most of 2021. Long story short it failed to fix things. So the next step is a new medication which required a 48 hour hospital stay to observe my reaction to the new med. Hence the extra time in the Hospital. At the moment I seem to be doing ok and the new med (Solotolol) seems to be helping with the irregular heart beat, so its time to wait and see how I react in the longer term. I hope I do not have to change doses anytime soon as that would require another hospital stay to observe the reaction. God I hate being a patient in the hospital! And I also hope that the drug helps me feel better!!!

Sounds like it was a bit more than they had predicted, which seems the norm. Take care of yourself.0

@cakeman21k WoW! you were in the hospital the same day my youngest brother was in the hospital in Birmingham Al for the same procedure cardiac ablation then on Tuesday he had an endoscopy. We believe his procedure was successful. He has a recovery period as you do as well.
So we're glad you made it home and pray your medication will work for you. I can certainly empathize with you. Glad your home and best wishes for a good Christmas.0 -
Wishing only the best for you
