Inspired by all of your possibilities.
My life is feeling pretty hemmed in right now by parenting (in a pandemic) and working and I guess to some extent dealing with my autoimmune situation. What I most want to do is get my house in order - we moved just a few months before the pandemic and never had time for that. It doesn't seem to be on the horizon anytime soon. What I am trying to do is make my time watching kids more fun - trying to rejoin/re-form community and get outside and have fun - which is hard in a pandemic winter but happening to some extent. As covid rates are going down around here and my kids are now vaccinated (fully vaccinated just as the omicron surge began) I am looking forward to feeling comfortable with more options for that kind of fun.
I also think I want a different job, and am waiting on one to open up, though whether I want it once I see it - whether it seems to make life more do-able or harder - we'll see.4 -

I love the conversations in this group. I hope to participate more. Right now, I’m mainly trying to just track & post every day. And to add in regular exercise.
I’m a worrier, have to work now altho I didn’t while I had kids, I used to love exercise & really miss it. Covid has been tough & altho most people feel it’s pretty much over, I still have to be very careful as I can’t stand the thought of getting it & spreading it to a group care home where my mom is. So a little longer for me, but in the process I’m losing “me”. I love exercise but now it’s much harder to do it as I’ve gotten out of condition & aged since I started working full time 6 years ago. I dream of playing racquetball again competitively. Tournaments etc. horseback riding, having more fun. Step aerobics. Throwing a football around, etc. Being able to do more. Be back in regular size clothes. Being together with friends again after Covid. Especially dream of being with my daughter & granddaughter again.5 -

I really want to travel more again – I have travelled to lots of different places and spent meaningful time in some. Now that I’m retired I should have time to do more, but my partner isn’t at all adventurous, so I need to plan something just for me. I have come through the pandemic unhurt (so far!). I need to live again.
@enlightenme3, backpacking with your daughter is brilliant! I went on three backpacking trips with my daughter after she finished at Uni. She went to Australia on a gap year on a round the world ticket and I joined her for two weeks in Thailand, then a few months later 3 weeks in Australia, and two weeks in Sri Lanka when she was on her way home. I was in my early 50s and enjoyed all of it so much!6 -

Wow... thought I did this already. But now, thinking back, Thursday was the day one of our neighbors had a really bad seizure at the bus stop and we ended up taking care of her dog until she was released from hospital. So, I guess I just forgot.

I have an old original Wii and the game is called "Walk It Out" (in UK it was called "Step To The Beat") Unfortunately, Konami (makers of Dance Dance Revolution) never made any updates / expansions after the original 2009 release.
If you google Nintendo Switch and "walking simulators" you will see what is available that is similar. For the longest time, there was NOTHING.
Now there is actually an "exergame category" for this ... so good luck! Does the Nintendo Switch act like "you are the controller the way the original Wii did?
