    Well, good morning all!
    I want to say things are great but my ankle and heel are hurting again. When I got up yesterday morning, it was sore but this morning the pain is more intense. :/

    I've had this before and went to the ER but they didn't find anything. It just had to wear off with some icing and rest. I guess I'll slow down now at least for a few days.

    I didn't go to the gym after my post yesterday because the heel and ankle felt more sore as the morning went on and as I walked. So glad I didn't because it might have put me in a worse situation than I'm in now.

    I didn't get to make the books yesterday because the storms came with thunder, lightening, and hail just as I was about to go out and I was going to my sister-in-law's office. The hail is what stopped me because when you have a new car, hail just doesn't need to be something you just ride in. It stormed basically all afternoon and into the night. I will go today even though I'm using this cane. :s

    Blessings everybody and let's go get it however B) we can!

    Finally gave in and bought a new digital scale this week as the old one was on it's last legs.
    I guess this week's weight is the right one, and a new starting point!

    @laurelfit57 yeah, I do try to lift with my legs. I think most of my back issues have come from helping Joe get out of chairs. Yesterday, I didn’t have to help him once and this morning I feel much better. :) Is a giant meatball the same as a meatloaf? I’m making meatloaf today, which will be good but it’s the cold meatloaf sandwich for tomorrow that I’m wanting more than anything else. Your fridge looks great and like you have no excuses for this week not to eat on plan. ;)

    @Cornanda Congrats on your loss this week! And yes, I totally believe in the need to shake up the body from time to time. I’m sure your son is doing what is best for him. And good for you for still being determined to get into that dress! :)

    @vegan4lyfe2012 Ohhh my goodness!! I am so incredibly sorry for the loss of your precious sister! Yes, no one who is 56 should die of pneumonia but I do know that pneumonia can be extremely dangerous. It put me in the ICU for four days a few years ago because I didn’t pay enough to the fact that I couldn’t breathe. I wonder if that also happened to your sister. You take care of yourself!! <3

    @micarro4 those birch trees are so beautiful! :)

    @askewcr so sorry you are in pain and yes, you need to rest and use ice until you feel better. Good call on not going to the gym. We had some fairly intense storms up in my area yesterday too. :/

    @trooworld good job on getting some exercise yesterday and only eating 2 pieces of pizza. That must have been hard considering how good ya’ll cook! :grin:

    Good morning! Today is a stay-at-home and get stuff done kind of day. The yellow Georgia pollen is starting to fall so we are going to cover up our porch furniture with plastic. We did this last year and it made cleaning up so much easier. I put a new app on my phone and computer called Todolist. So far I love it and hoping it will cut down on my overuse of yellow sticky notes that clutter my desk every day. :grin: OK, I’m off to do a leg workout and get this day started.

    @vegan4lyfe2012 - I'm so sorry about your sister. I'm glad that your aunt will travel with you. Hugs and hang in there.

    @micaroo4 - lovely pic!

    @Glombog - welcome back!

    @askewcr - I hope you feel better quickly!

    @trooworld - sounds like you had a terrific day yesterday! Now hit "repeat"..... :)

    @TeresaW1020 - the turkey meatball is like meatloaf. But it has an Italian flavor to it. I'm glad your back is better and that Joe is having less trouble getting out of chairs. We have that yellow pollen here too... hmph.

    Quiet weekend. Ran/walked a bit and then walked a lot. Did a bunch of yard work. Now it's time for cleaning and projects!

    My Spring Challenge commitment is:
    1) Read for 30 minutes a day or use my Scroll Saw - I'm reading The Stranger by Stephen King.
    2) Move at least 30 minutes a day or walk 3000 steps - ???? steps so far today. I don't know I left my Fitbit on the charger again.
    3) Weigh everyday - 167.8

    I didn't post my spring challenge yesterday, this sleep thing has me out of sorts. I went back to going to bed at 11:30 and whatever happens, happens. I did take a 2-hour nap today and it was refreshing. I'm hoping to get our taxes finished tomorrow and sent to the tax accountant on Monday, that would be a huge relief to be done with that. Since my mind is not clear all the time due to brain fog, I'm forced to doing it when I can think clearly.

    @laurelfit57 Your fridge looks ready for a week of healthy eating.

    @micaroo4 I love that picture and the peacefulness it represents.

    @vegan4lyfe2012 I'm so sorry for the loss of your sister. It's a terrible tragedy to die that young from pneumonia. I have some insurance not much for my husband and myself, but we did pay for our cremation services in advance so that is something I don't need to worry about.

    @TeresaW1020 I'll definitely have to check that show out! I hope your back is feeling better. Glad Joe is having a better day. I read about your app Todolist and was thinking it sounded like a Lord of The Rings character (Frodo) then tried reading it slower and it made more sense, geez! Hope it helps, I may copy you on that!

    @trooworld I'm so sorry to hear work's been that stressful, how frustrating. I'm glad the walk helped!

    @askewcr Have fun with the souvenir books, I'm sure they'll make a lot of people happy. I'm sorry to hear your ankle and heel are feeling worse. We should do a Zoom since so many of us are recovering from injuries right now!

    @laurelfit57 That's exactly what I was thinking with the machines, I'm strong enough to lift heavier but whenever I go up to 20lbs my back goes out which is about every 2 months these days. Sounds like you have all kinds of tasty food ready to go, I wish you lived by me! Did you try the Giant Parmesan Meatball yet? It is just a meatloaf @TeresaW1020 but sounds fun being a gigantic meatball!

    @Cornanda Congratulations on the loss, woohoo! I do think sometimes surprising our bodies makes us drop weight, I haven't been losing at all then I went to Texas Roadhouse and got a loaded sweet potato with my salmon then had cake and ice cream, I felt like I'd been hit by a truck the next day but the next time I weighed I was down a few pounds finally so who knows. I'm sorry to hear your son doesn't want to be in his graduation (I was the same way). Definitely do it for you as a birthday gift, you'll be so proud of yourself when the day comes that it will be worth it.

    @vegan4lyfe2012 I'm so sorry to hear about your sister, I hope the arrangements aren't too complicated or stressful for you, what a sad situation.

    @micaroo4 What a beautiful photo, great place to hike!

    @Glombog Welcome back!

    @FushiaKat I'm sorry to hear you're struggling with your sleep. I know the time change throws it off but is it also related to medication? I know there's times I need more sleep like right now when I'm injured, I think sometimes we just need a little more but it's frustrating when we aren't getting enough or are feeling run down then of course pain is way worse.

    Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been around much, Thursday and today I spent resting and reading and yesterday was my hair appointment then I went out with my parents for lunch (Thai food, they have a great mixed veggie stir fry). I'm doing light workouts but am still recovering so doing my best to lay around, it sprinkled today and was cold so I stayed in and started a good Susan Mallery that I'll probably go finish tonight. Tomorrow's the food bank farm greenhouse then another mellow workout, hopefully I'll sleep good and do some serious healing tonight! I'm off to see if the Bingo challenge is something I can do, finish my batch of kombucha, then back to my book. Have an amazing Sunday!

    Not our best week as a whole, but there were still some great losses this past week, and an overall gain sets us up to get an even better loss next week!

    Take a look at last week's results in the links below:

    I’m so sorry I’m not sure what happened there I accidentally put it twice because I thought it hadn’t worked and I was at the park with my boys and didn’t change the previous weight and then accidentally deleted the 8 from the previous weight and thought I’d deleted a 6!! Next time I will make sure they aren’t talking to me when I am updating 🙈!! I’m really sorry 😕

    @vegan4lyfe2012 I am so sorry to hear about your sister! My thoughts and prayers are with you♥️

    @cornanda that scale can be a very funny thing! Sometimes I am positive I am going to have a big loss and I stay the same, the next time I might think I am going to stay the same and have a loss. Sometimes your body is just going to do what it’s gonna do🥴. I’m glad that you have a good relationship with your son and he can tell you what he’s going through. So glad that you are focussed on that dress, you deserve it! Your weekend sounds like it was very productive!

    @teresaw1020 The giant meatball is like a meatloaf except it is in a circle :-). I am right there with you, there is nothing better than a meatloaf sandwich the next day!! I have cut mine up into 4 ounce servings and frozen them, when I want to meatloaf sandwich I can just take one of the servings out of the freezer in the morning and make it for lunch! Or I can put marinara sauce on it and have more of an Italian type meal. Glad you didn’t have to do quite as much lifting with Jo yesterday. I have the Todo list app on my phone, I love it! I also use it for my grocery lists. Hope your leg workout went well!

    @micaroo4 it really does look like you went for a hike through the enchanted forest, how beautiful!

    I always fine it hard to get on here on Friday and Saturday, my grandkids come Friday afternoon and stay until Saturday afternoon, then by the time they leave, I’m pooped lol. I find myself always catching up on Sunday!

    It was a good weekend here, today was a good day to get a bunch of things caught up. Hopefully we had the last winter storm here, much of our province was in white out conditions! Gave me an excuse to get a bunch of things done around here. They are saying tomorrow is supposed to be up to about 50°! Can’t wait :-) :-)

    @amioc, @Cornanda , @Glombog , @trooworld Congratulations for being on the Team MissionSlimpossible Leader Board for this week! You are an inspiration to all of us.

    I took another 2-hour nap today, I'm starting to feel more rested. Haha, I did wake up at 3am and eat pickles. MFP say's I should start losing only a pound a week now, I'm good with any loss. Actually, if I stayed the same for a few weeks I wouldn't mind that either right now. I have more emotional garbage to get rid of before I can be successful from this point forward, and it's going to take a lot of heart felt forgiveness on my part. It's been many years since those tragic events happened. But they are etched in my brain like it was only yesterday. I need to tell myself that I am worthy, that my weight had nothing to do with it, and that it was not me but them that caused them to act that way. We have no control over how other people act out. I see a lot of self-talk in my future if I'm going to let go. Hopefully I will have it figured out by next weekend. I think I'm ready to let go of the past and look forward.

    So happy with this weeks loss!!

    Felt uneasy the days in the army when I couldn’t eat or work out as I use to. I need my scedules and routines😅.

    Told I am to quit my second job after easter.

    My wife was done studying last summer, so income is good enough, and sold my apartement last week, so less expenses.

    Felt good, and really looking forward do some weekends off with my family😊

    @Katmary71 The app didn’t really help me much unless I want to pay $35 a year for all the features. I’m utilizing Google task in my calendar and back to those good ole yellow sticky notes. :grin:

    @trooworld That must have been some good painting to keep you up so late! :grin: A foot massage sounds nice. When I was 17, I worked at Burger King and I dated a young man who was studying to be a chiropractor. He would give me the best foot massages after work. I dated him much longer than I should have just for those foot massages. :D

    @laurelfit57 that is a very good idea to portion out for meatloaf sandwiches. I swear I could eat one every day but never thought of just making a big meatloaf just for sandwiches. :grin: I wasn’t loving the Todolist but maybe I just didn’t give it enough time. Hmm? Spring is almost there for you! :)

    Hi Team! Today is a beautiful spring day. Mom and I went grocery shopping early and then Joe and I went to drop off our paperwork so we can get our taxes done. Afterward, I took Joe home and went to the car wash and got my girl shiny both inside and out. True that the stupid yellow pollen will make her all gross in the next few weeks, but I don’t care. My car has never been that dirty which just proves how busy my life has been lately. I also did some church work on the computer. I have to go into the office in the morning but leave early so I can get my hair cut and colored. These grey hairs are getting out of control! :# My eating has been pretty good. Yesterday, I made my first loaf of protein sparing bread. It's bread that is made from whipped egg whites, egg white powder, cream of tartar, and a little allulose. I didn’t cook it long enough and it was a little Styrofoamy in flavor but edible. And it didn’t deflate at all, which is a thing that often happens! I toasted it and used it to make my yummy meatloaf sandwich for a lovely carb-free meal. :grin:

    Here is a picture of it. It was HUGE!!! :p

    @katmary71 alignment is so key when lifting weights, I hope using the machines will work for you! I did the try the giant Parmesan loaf it was delicious! I cut it up and froze it, already to make a few meals out of :-) :-). You have such a busy life!

    @trooworld That foot massage sounds heavenly and what a deal if it turns into a full body massage!

    @fushiakat dealing with emotional traumas are challenging, but so rewarding when you come out the other side. Hugs to you

    @Glombog congrats on the loss, I hear you on the schedules and routines! It will be so nice for you to be able to relax more on the weekends with your family!

    @teresaw2020 congrats on the loss! Tough to do with all the stress you have been under. It sounds like you had an absolutely lovely day, there is nothing like spring! I just realized my app is not called todolist it is just called To Do:). What did your protein bread taste like? It looked delicious!

    Hi team! It was a great day today! No more winter storm, the sun was out and I was able to get out with Vannie for a long walk with no spikes on my boots, I can’t even begin to tell you what a freeing experience that is! I did a spin class this morning, got Vannie out for a really good walk just after lunch and then we went to agility class! I am so glad that I have all my proteins already cooked up and in the freezer, I took a packet of chicken breast out this morning and did a super quick stirfry after getting back from agility, it was delicious. Now I am pooped and will try to stay awake until 9🤣

    @amioc @Cornanda @Glombog @trooworld Way to go team!

    Haha, we're just a bunch of meatloaf-eating people! Too funny we're all going through meatloaf stages, now that the weather is getting better time to bust out salads and meals with lots of fresh veggies and herbs!

    @TeresaW1020 Impressive loaf! I bought gluten free flour but haven't made anything with it yet. That pollen is a pain. My allergies are so bad today! Sounds like a very productive day!

    Hi everyone! Not much new, still not lifting weights, have the food bank farm in the morning, I think it's warm enough that I'll be okay as far as cold making my pain worse so I'm going to help plant seedlings. Basically did the same in my yard today, I have a turkey watching me over the fence, it has to be the same one as last year that was in my yard for a week. Going to make some overnight oats then go read my book, have a great Tuesday! Oh, there's a new BINGO challenge that's pretty doable, check it out!

    Good morning everyone!
    Happy Tuesday! Happy to report the heel and ankle are so much better. I plan to go back to the gym tomorrow morning. The ability to walk with no pain is such a blessing and you don't know the extent of it until you have lost that ability. I am grateful!

    I spent the afternoon yesterday with my great nieces. o:) It was a total delight. I haven't seen them in about three weeks and we had so much fun...made memories. We went to eat at their favorite restaurant, Cracker barrel. We went to their favorite store, Dollar General. We went to the library. We played "Head Bands" which is their new found favorite game as of yesterday. Finally, they tried this new thing we bought at Dollar Tree called ankle skipping. At first it was a huge challenge. Then the oldest one "got it" and then it was on. The youngest one is still trying to get it but she made progress in learning how to hoola-hoop. They made this aunt's day in a mighty way!! :p

    Have a wonderful day everyone and let's go get it! B)
