Weight is up from dinner out last night to celebrate son#1 house purchase. Mexican food and it was worth it all around.
Weather was perfect yesterday for more outdoor tasks. Washed the storm door and garage door (algae) plus washed the living room and dining room windows. Fitbit gave me credit for over an hour workout and 300 cal so I'll take it. I did do a circuit workout during that meeting the other day as well
Have not made the fudge pops yet. Will wait to see how they come out before sharing the recipe.5 -
Feel like I am passing a kidney stone. I have passed one before and this feels the same. No fun.7

Went to the movies yesterday. Packed a G-fit Gatorade, mozzarella cheese snack, and a 100 calorie pack of nuts so I avoided all the popcorn, candy, and sodas.

Went line dancing last night. It was so much fun! I had over 14k steps! We are going again tonight, but this time it's a late night, so not sure how I will do. The party is from 9pm-2am and I am usually in bed by 8:30! So we'll see! I also have my first guitar lesson today! So a fun packed Saturday! I am blessed! Have a great day!4 -
Yesterday was a rest day but I also came down with a cold. Feeling quite unwell today so won’t be doing any exercise, spending a day relaxing on the sofa and sitting in my window chair reading. Planning on still going out for a walk tomorrow. It will be nice to do something and walking is easy to adjust to how well I’m feeling. I’ll see how I feel in the morning, if I’m feeling too awful I’ll just stay home again.3

Hi, I have two goals for May. To drink a gallon of water daily and to add walking for 30 minutes 5 days a week to my workout regimen.4 -

Hi all you awesome peeps ... I apologize for not being around much ... I have been walking 3 days a week and doing Piyo 2 days a week ... I have also been dealing with migraines ...eating this week wasn't my usual I was having a hard time eating anything ...I lost 4.8 lbs this week I blame that on the migraines ...I hope everyone is doing good ...Happy Early Mother's Day to all you wonderful Mother's4

Back down to my lowest weight! Yes! I went dancing again last night. According to my Fitbit, I did over 18k steps before midnight and another 500 steps after midnight! Danced over 7 miles and according to my watch, burned over 3000kcal! Now, not sure which one to believe...my Fitbit or MFP. It doesn't really matter.
I also had my first guitar lesson yesterday! I really need to practice every day, but I can now play a snippit of Johnny Cash! My fingertips are still numb!

Spent Sat morning at the ER. Definitely passing a kidney stone. 7mm sheeze. Constant pain. Saturday was the worst. Not able to break it up but at least I now have some good pain pills. I can handle a 6 or 7 but I have been at a 10 on the pain scale from 2 am to 12 noon Saturday. What a way to celebrate Mother's Day. It is moving but it is still extremely painful even with the pills.6

Weight is up again from a wedding Saturday and just not paying attention/couch surfing yesterday. I felt so awful after eating wedding food. Heavy, bloated and uncomfortable. It lingered all day yesterday. THIS is why I can never go back to the American Standard Diet level of carbs. It's not gaining or losing weight but rather the way it makes my body feel. I'm grateful to be able to identify and quickly remedy that.
I did a little over an hour spin class Sat morning. Will need to add in extra movement this week to make up for the weekend indulgence.
Spectacular weather coming the next 5 days, looking forward to being outside every day!5 -
gained 3.4lb for no reason! Dang the scale is really going to make me work and fret over theses last few lb.5

Weight is still fluctuating. No real losses.4 -
Still not feeling well. Went out to the local French market shop yesterday but that let me exhausted. So no walking yesterday and no exercise today. Will have another rest day tomorrow which is my usual rest day anyway and hopefully I will feel better and able to to some exercise on Wednesday.3

Mostly maintenance eating at the end of the week. Mother’s Day was off plan. @tishsmith101 I feel you on just feeling yuck when you eat so called “normal” foods. That plus drinks wiped me out for the afternoon yesterday. I’m bouncing around this week on the same .8 pounds up and down. Guess I’ll cut some calories to see if I can get things rolling this week.5 -

UGW-122 lbs. I was there in 2009/10 and kept it off for 5 years then got lazy.
My goal is to continue with what seems to work for me. 1000-1200 calories, low carb 15 Net +/- 3(My body seems to not do well with carbs. It doesn't know how to burn them and hangs onto them way too much!), minimum 70 + oz of water, 2 meals/day on my days off(3) and 3 meals on my work days(which are long), exercise on my 3 days off. For challenges my official weigh in day is Sunday. I weigh daily.

5/1/22-158.8 lbs. :-( I can't believe this with all the Elliptical miles Friday, yesterday and stayed way under calories for what I was allotted. Has to be water weight retention. Hoping for a whoosh soon. Did Elliptical 300 minutes for 22.3 miles in first session and 54 minutes for 4.2 miles for 26.5 miles total today. Hopefully that gets me heading downward again. (Did long times on Friday 228 minutes and Saturday 240 minutes too.)
5/8/22- 148 lbs :-) So glad for the whoosh of mainly water weight finally off from my OK trip! Still doing long elliptical hours on my off work days.

I got frustrated last night and got into my son's bag of Doritos. I hate it when people don't do what they are supposed to do. I left work early because I was supposed to get a call at 3:30, which is when I normally get done with work. They never called. I'm still upset over it this morning. But it's a new day, so I need to get a handle on this. I'm an emotional eater, and I've been doing so good. I can't let this derail me. Back at it today! Have a great day!7 -

Quick drop to 165, hoping for another quick drop to 163 tomorrow. Got in my 30 min strength class yesterday the a couple hours of gardening after work. Made an effort to increase NEAT and noticed the difference in my stairs count (9) on Fitbit. Since I'm finishing up laundry today I should get more of that today.
I'm supposed to walk tonight with the friend who stiffed me last week (LOL) but will do something at lunch just in case.
Got the fence put up around my raised garden and cleaned off the patio yesterday. I love Spring!6 -
Been lying around since Saturday due to kidney stone. Still have not passed the darn thing, but pain is soooo much better. Hoping to get a little bit of walking in today and of course tons of water. So glad this did not happen on vacation.5

I thought I had a pretty good day, a sensible dinner without going overboard, no snacks and closed the kitchen by 7pm. The result? The scale bounced up. Good-ness what a pain in the rear this whole weight loss journey is!6 -

And in the theme of Spring Into A New You, I had my first pedicure last night! 58 years old and never have I ever had a pedicure. Not my idea of a good time. But now I have purty toes! Ah, the walk with the friend didn't happen again. I got out to her house and another 'something came up'. Learned my lesson. Spending any time or making plans with her cannot involve activity that I'm counting on. I'll make up for it today on my own.
Went to the garden store and bought a window bird feeder, some stump & vine killer and poison ivy killer. Feeling much safer about clearing out my rock garden now.6 -

I feel your disappointment. I usually have to have 3 good days before I see the scale move. Saturday hardly ate anything and how did the scale reward me up almost 2 lbs. But I have had hardly any sugar and my carbs are well under control. Blood sugar more in line and I have dropped those 2 lbs plus another 1lb. Just keep your plan going and it will happen.5 -
