Sorry that I've been a little "patchy" in my involvement of late, including starting this particular thread. The Passover holiday was a busy time, and work has also been quite busy lately (3/4 of our admin team recently left for better-paying jobs, so I've had to pick up a lot of tasks that others normally take care of for me). </excuses>

I'm up 0.8 pounds since last week. Passover is always a hard time, weight-wise, for me. Part of the issue is that I eat matzo every day (8 days), and that's the equivalent of eating a bunch of bread that I normally don't eat. The other Passover classics (for me) are generally calorie-dense, and there's lots of wine involved, too!

This week I'm feeling a bit better about how I'm managing my intake (even though my weight is up a little). I went M-Th without alcohol, and generally limited my snacking to popcorn at night. The next steps are to cut out the evening snacking, and to try to be a little more restrained in my intake over the weekend. It's a "soft-plan" right now, but if need be, I can actually lay out some specific goals.

I'm also keeping up with my running plan (4 days a week) and that's going well.

As I've said before, at least I'm still maintaining, even if it's 10+ pounds above my personal target weight!

At WW I was down 1.8#, after a .6# uptick last week. Still below goal, but 6.6 from my 10# below WW goal.

After two weeks of decent losses, with the last being larger than expected, this week was “pay the piper” time with a 4# gain. I’m honestly not sure where it came from. There wasn’t anything significantly different than prior weeks, other than the fact that I planted 49 trees this week. Just like I’m reluctant to blame sodium for any gain, though, I’m also reluctant to trot out the “my muscles are repairing themselves!” or the ever-popular “I must be building muscle!” tropes.

Nope, just a weird week. Maybe I’ll try to be a bit more disciplined and see what happens, but the reality is that larger swings up and down seems to be my default mode. 🤷‍♂️

@steve0mania I’m thinking a 0.8 gain over Passover week doesn’t sound bad at all. 👍

Down 2.6 lbs this week. It's sort of a mitochondria because I had an 8 hour round trip Sunday to spend time with our Son. That resulted in bringing him home for 3 days then returning him another 8 hour round trip on Wednesday and getting in around 10:30 Wednesday night. This destroys any sense of regularity and planning but it's worth it.

Then a full very busy work day yesterday getting done late last night.

Goal is to stick to Tracking which I failed to do this week. Back to it today and on to a new week.
