Just curious about your experience with Noom. Like you, I have had a long time association with WW and have read alot about weight loss. Did you learn anything new with Noom? Did the coaches help?

I think there isn't much new about weight loss but I wonder if the coaching and the articles just give you a little boost.

TIA

Apologies for taking so long to respond. I have been on travel for work and only minimally participating on the board.

In a nutshell, the main strength of Noom is making you think. The articles are quite informative, and each one contains good data or perspective that drives you to confront the "why" in what you do. I know the term mindfulness is bandied about ad nauseam; however, the materials do cause you to work within a certain mindfulness mindset.

Also, you can save all articles to a cloud library for later perusal.

This works for me. It may not work for others.

WRT coaches - the coach is primarily there to keep you moving forward. Sometimes this is via providing some perspective. Other times, it is by providing you with an article or two, or perhaps, directing you back to a previous lesson. They are not in your face.

If you look back at the messages through February, I posted around six posts dealing specifically with Noom.
