I'm down 0.4 pounds. I actually had a pretty good week, and have been working on exercising the ol' "restraint" muscle. I didn't have any post-dinner snacks this week (at least M-Th), and only had a glass of bourbon one evening. I know it doesn't sound like much, but believe me, it's a personal mini-victory!

Now I just need to start putting multiple weeks like this together, and cut down on my weekend intake a bit, and I think I'll be back in losing mode and heading towards my personal goal weight.

I'm up 8 lbs this week. I've had a pretty serious medical issue that last 3 weeks. I'll say it falls with urology and leave it at that. I was tracking them got interrupted simply because I got extremely busy with work. That seems to cause stress and then I just eat things I shouldn't along with too much volume.

Since my Urologist visit Tuesday I'm better but still going to have to have a procedure/test on 5/26. For now I'm feeling much better and able to handle daily life functions and work a lot better. We see how this week goes with tracking and eating management.

Glad you had a good week, Steve. The scale obviously isn’t the absolute answer.

Derrick - urology is no fun, even ignoring the cringe factor it invokes.

I don’t really know what my “official” weight would be. I didn’t have my normal WW Studio weigh-in Thursday evening, and since I’ve been on the road since Wednesday early AM, I haven’t had my normal daily weigh-in until today. That’s up a bit at 195.2 (just to put a number there for accountability) but it’s after an indulgent dinner late night. I’m pleased with my choices over three days of driving; not blue dots, but all were close.

Last night, though, was Bonefish Grill - bread with olive oil, Bang-Bang Shrimp, sea bass and green beans - and then dessert. They had a Carrot Lave Cake special - warm carrot cake with molten cream cheese center. I love carrot cake, and this was unusual enough I made the deliberate decision to try it. It was very good, and I would have regretted passing it up - and I accept the consequences of that decision.

Walked on the beach at Ft Lauderdale for 45 minutes this morning, and sweated off about two pounds of dinner. 😉
