A downward trend! I have not had a super fast start to September but I have to admit I am proud of myself for sticking to it and I know it took my 33 years to get here and it will take more then a month to get back!
I also know that next week is going to be amazing for me because finally my husband and I got our bills caught up ( he had lost his job in june and we had fallen behind while he got new work) and I can spend a bit extra stocking my fridge and not just worrying about the kids school lunches!
The problem now I am planning on leaving my job this is a very stressful decision for me but one that I think is critical for my future! I am a firm believer that one must not do a job just to be employed but that you should also value and love your work!!! I have lost all respect for the company and their values, and it is taking a lot of self control to not quit right now!0 -

Hello! I am posting new goals for September. My kick start has slowed to the realistic "I have to live this way for the rest of my life" mode and Dan is right about 5 pounds per week being aggressive. I can do this one baby step at a time.
I am going to weigh on Saturday mornings.

That is 3 pounds per week. I know I can do that.

I think I can still make my goal this month. I'm pretty sure I'm doing what I need to do exercise-wise, but I'm going to have to tighten up my diet big-time to lose 5.4 lbs in 12 days.
So many folks in this group are kicking serious butt this month, both in weight loss and in stepping up their mental game! Especially love Jessaurophagus' attitude about bouncing back this week.0 -
