I'm down 0.2 pounds. At some level, that's a miracle, since I was 2.2 pounds higher yesterday! But...this week was a wash, as I was away last weekend and ate in a pretty unrestricted manner. I'm still in the "just floating around mode" without a real sense of purpose or commitment. Yesterday's LTL thread got me thinking that I will need to set some sort of a defined plan for myself rather than just kinda wishing the extra few pounds off.

At WW Wednesday I was dead even with the week before. Still maintaining but trying (not hard enough) to lose more.

Steve - I’m reminded of Bob/Podkey's “wishin' and hopin'” approach to weight loss.

My last weigh-in before this Thursday was three weeks ago. Since that time, I’ve driven 4046 miles, walked in the sand for a total of 240 minutes, had 41 meals away from home, and ended the last meal of the road trip with a pizookie (Google it) for 59 points. In the context of all those big numbers, a gain of 8.6 pounds across three weeks doesn’t seem like an unreasonable price to pay.

I was away from my normal exercise routine, but I at least walked for exercise twelve of fourteen days. I was in the healthy eating range nine of the fourteen days. I ate a lot of fish and salad while I was in Florida for a week. There are precious few things I would do differently over that time. I stayed “Connected” as much as possible. In essence, I feel I lived those two weeks as a responsible person trying to make sensible choices while enjoying a different environment - and one who was willing to pay the price for those choices.

And I am now back to my environment, have been in the healthy eating range the first two full days back, and did my normal exercise routines for those two days. Onward and downward on the (bumpy) trip back to my goal weight!

I'm down .8 from last week. No excuses when it come to weight loss but I had another health procedure yesterday and I had plenty of anxiety about it. Also extremely buddy with work and are late several nights of the week. Really hate to blame situations in eating. There is really the 6"s between my ears that's the problem.
    On to another week.
