13 Days Of Covid

Well, 12 really. Yesterday I felt pretty much normal aside from a bit of a lingering cough.

Double vaxed and boosted in Nov. I don’t have risk factors aside from I’m 72. It was very similar to a number of colds I’ve had and not the worst.

It did mess with my sense of taste but I wouldn’t say I lost it. About the same as other colds. I self treated with aspirin, some cough medicine, carrot cake and full sugar ginger ale. As my sense of taste was mostly dulled, I compensated by eating more than usual.

I have not been on the scale in 2 weeks. Much to my surprise, when I did WI today I was up .2lbs from 2 weeks ago. I was expecting extra lbs.

Glad you’re okay, and that it wasn’t worse. I’ve avoided it so far, but like they say about pilots who fly retractable gear aircraft, “There are those who have landed gear up, and those who will.” Hope my positive experience is as positive as yours when it happens.

Glad you're feeling better. I too have dodged it so far. 2 shots, 2 boosters and a fair amount of mask wearing still. TOL the same. I'm 78, with risk factors, and she's 76, so.....

Same here as in glad your doing ok. I've also escaped it also. My risk factor is a very high @74 yo and obese. Had a lot of if antibiotics 2020 and some 2021 and now got some more a few weeks ago with a bladder infection. I mainly load up on Zinc, D3, B12, fish oil and multi v plus Elderberry and extra C.

Like all of us, I am glad you are OK, I had it last August after being double vaxed and boosted, for me it was an annoying cough which kept me awake at night, but no too much more. On the lingering effects though I still have some "smelly" issues. Like fresh poped popcorn smells like bacon, and our bathroom smells like stale cigarette smoke! Weird side effect.

Glad to hear you are doing better. I am also glad your weight gain was minimal.
