I'm up 0.4 pounds. Whereas last week I was surprised by being down, this week I'm a little surprised by being up, since I spend most of the week at a lower weight. As we know, the specific number isn't too meaningful, but the overarching trend is more useful. Unfortunately, my overarching trend is "stable" instead of decreasing. Why can't wishing it off work better?

    Still maintaining, anyway.

Down 0.8 Wed. at WW. Still maintaining, and agree with Steve, as I wish to lose more. ;)

I have to say I’m pleased with this week's results.

Last week, after three weeks of vacation that included fourteen days on the road, I was up 8.6 pound. I considered that a reasonable price for my choices. This week, returning to my normal routine but not taking any special steps to address the gain, I’m down 8.8. That means as of Thursday evening, I weigh less than I did before I went on vacation.

That’s a bit unusual for me. Usually if I had a vacation gain of 8# or so, I’d lose five the first week, two the second week, and one or two the third week. The only thing I did differently this time (as a result of some discussions at the 5/26 Studio meeting) was add an additional 20 ounces of water in the morning to my daily consumption. I do know that historically the more water I drink the less I seem to weigh, so I’ll try to keep this up as long as my aging bladder can tolerate it.

    Up 1.2 lbs. A gain I couldn't afford.
