Hello everyone,
I am trying to find out what kind of beginner workout program to start with and an excellent resource for meal preparation that enables me to change my lifestyle. My goals are yes to lose weight and tone up but more so to have a better lifestyle for my children and more energy as well. The scales are not my main focus even if the decrease in number is nice but more so how I feel and the examples I give my children. I want permanent change not just a quick fix but I find it overwhelming on where to start with food and how to incorporate workouts with strength training.

Hi! Sending light and positive energy your way!
Have you considered joining some sort of challenge (e.g., steps, weight loss, water intake)? I have found that I do better when I am able to tap into my competitive side (lol). Also, I currently utilize the Obe fitness app, which has all sorts of workout videos for you to stream (both live and pre-recorded). I have also started doing the 12-3-30 treadmill challenge (definitely worth looking up). I hope these suggestions can help you get to where you are trying to go.
Feel free to add me for moral support or encouragement along the way!0 -
