Hi all,
My name is Michele. I’m excited to be part of this group. I’ve been batting my weight for years. I quickly read some of the posts and immediately felt like I could have written most of them. I am using today to start over for the millionth time because the pictures of myself from a fun outing yesterday made me feel more disgusted and disappointed in myself than ever. I’ve been working out 5-6 days per week for about a year and saw no weight change (got physically stronger though) until I started to focus on my food at the end of January. I lost 20 lbs, then went off track. Now I’m only down 15.7 lbs. I need to turn this back around quickly.
I know I’m an emotional (mostly stress and boredom) eater and I love cooking and eating. I was diagnosed with celiac 2 years ago so that has presented added challenges (no excuses). Summers and days off are the hardest for me (I work in a school) so I figured today is the perfect day to start something new (school ended on Friday). This is my first something new…try to control my stress and boredom eating.
I look forward to sharing with and learning from you!!

Hi! I to have struggled for years. I’m also gluten intolerant undiagnosed celiac. I’ve been trying to eat correctly for years now. It’s a journey not a race. That’s what I remind myself. Progress is progress even when small. I came from Noom. That really helped me identify why I do what I do and taught me how to incorporate new habits to replace the bad ones. Now I’m here and still chugging along. I’ve lost some weight over the years on my journey but it’s a two setups forward one back kind of deal. I’m currently almost two weeks strict gluten free 👍 I strive for low carb low cal gluten free low sugar intermittent fasting. I just added in more movement maybe that will kickstart the scale again. I login daily and have an open diary of you want some MFP friends. I hope you find the motivation to succeed.. hugs..0
