Just curious. How many miles away is your closest in person WW meeting place? Pre-pandemic, we had two meeting places within 10 miles. Post pandemic there are none in our county. Our closest in person meeting is now 45 miles away.

Ours is about 9mi. They closed the one 3 mi. away. Guess as long as we can still drive, we'll still be going.

We're fortunate to live right outside the largest city in our state. As a result, we have a Studio in Bedford NH that’s 3.4 miles as the crow flies, and 4.6 miles if that crow is driving an SUV. In terms of other locations:
    • Nashua hotel meeting 14.8 miles
    • Concord church meeting 21.0 miles
    • Salem Studio 24.3 miles
    • Chelmsford MA Studio 28.0 miles
    • Haverhill MA Studio 28.3 miles

So that’s six locations all within about a forty minute drive. Of course, if we’re up at our timeshare in the White Mountains for a week, the nearest Studio is 43 miles.

I don't go to live WW meetings, but if I check Google maps, it seems there are a couple that are ~15 miles from my work-site.

I don't attend live WW meetings. I do live in a major city that has a couple of major centers, though. So, you're never more than 10-15 minutes away from a live meeting.

I haven’t been to a WW meeting since 2017. But I attended regularly for about 9 years. When I started it was about a 5 min drive. Actually I could have walked if I wanted to but never did. Then they moved, that was about 10 min by car. One of the reasons I kept going was because it was so easy. We just moved to the Ft Myers FL area. Haven’t seen a WW in my travels.

When we moved to Williamsburg in 2013 there was a center about 5 miles away, That center closed during the pandemic closures and for about a year plus it was zoom meeting only, When they finally resumed live meetings it was at a hotel also about 5 miles away. Then our leader retired and they lost or gave up their contract with the hotel and we were back to zoom meetings for about 3 - 4 months. They finally got a contract for a room at a local rec center about 3 miles away just 6 weeks ago. We went for 2 weeks and then left town for our summer RV trip (currently in Glacier NP Montana) We will not be back till mid August so I don't know exactly how that is working out for them.

The pandemic did us in. There was a meeting at my local church that I attended regularly but it is gone. The one in the next town over is gone. The closest meeting to me now is 40 miles away. I didn't leave WW. WW left me.

I do wonder with the reduction in in-person meetings how they’re handling Lifetimers who have been abandoned.

I'm pretty sure they want to do away with FTF meetings, and do all on Zoom. I sat in on a meeting with Lisa, can't remember her Goad handle, with about 50 people. Hated it. No PTP interaction.
