I haven't had a good week, I got stung again.
This time it was simultaneously on the nape of my neck and in my arm pit, yes a wasp flew up my sleeve and stung me right smack in the middle of my armpit. He gets 100% for a bullseye on both stings sites.
It appears I have a reaction to stings and have a swollen armpit and a huge (Mr B’s description) hard lump on the base of my neck that is causing me to lean my head forward.
I have been taking Benadryl tablets (correct dose unlike last time) and using antihistamine cream.
On the up side, I have stayed within my calorie goal and drank my water.
I have only done daily dog walks as exercise, I don't count them on my habit tracker as these are non negotiable and now my dog is 12, he no longer walks at a fast pace or for a long time. Saying that, this morning we walked 1.5 miles at 24:38 pace which is really good for him - woot woot!

@ashleycarole86 I use the lose it app too.
I had an amazing week this past week. But this week isn't shaping up too good. We are in the Smokey Mountains in Tennesee for the long weekend. I wasn't too concerned at first, but we went with my husbands family (parents, 2 aunts and uncles). Lets just say they're eating habits aren't the best. Currently in eye sight is reese's peanut butter cups (my favorite), milk chocolate with almond fun sized bars (easy to over eat), 3 types of oreos, cake, cookies, donuts, muffims, chips with queso 🤤 So my plan of only eating 1 treat out at a dessert place went out the window on the day we got here.
However, we did go on an amazing hike this morning and I had a salad for lunch!

My weight climb is so awful. I can’t stand it. Not really behaving that differently but I have regained so much since I moved. 🫣😔
I am carry it all around the middle too. Ugh.
I’m going to declare post bankruptcy right now and will try to come back later and read through them.6 -

211.3 is actually 0.5 LESS than last week. And @EvMakesChanges is also down a tad from last week. And @LoraineGB down 0.6. All of you complaining about not a great week. Get happy y'all! You're doing OK!6 -
I have been absent all day - sorry about that! It is busy with visits and other things happening. I am having a blast hanging out with not only my daughter and her partner, but my niece arrived this evening ( @EvMakesChanges daughter!) and we are talking non-stop as usual. So just a quick reminder for everyone -

Jack (formerly names Jacques) has been keeping me in check on my steps. But, I have been indulging in too much junky stuff... and logging at the end of the day. Missing those extra nibbles and bites here and there.
Steps for the week:
Sunday: 14950
Monday: 14040
Tuesday: 15848
Wednesday: 11157
Thursday: 17433
Our new dog is such a joy. Okay... yes, he marked the elevator wall(so gross)... but he's got so much love in his doggy heart. I feel truly blessed.5 -
Glad I sat on the sidelines this month - I wouldn't have helped the team AT ALL. Just hopped on the scale and I've hit that upper 'decade' 170.4....grrrr. I've scanned through the chat and can tell I want to sit later and really read through - good inspirational conversation there - @PlaneMonkey REGRET @jugar ALCOHOL and more... I need to regroup and be ready to hit September seriously. I might even set a goal for Christmas or my January birthday. @micki48 you with me?
And no thanks to the MFP bozo who thought withholding the handy barcode scanner would inspire me to sign up for Premium....makes me dig my heels in even more, not doing it.5 -
@jugar I need a pass this week. I had some alcohol this month and generally I'm a non drinker. It made my time of the month pretty brutal this month. I have a ton of bloating, water weight and hormone migraines on top of it all. So weird that alcohol makes the body produce extra estrogen. Anyways, my body doesn't like it, the scale doesn't like it and food has been off. Getting back on track today.8

I was hoping for a green month, but that can't happen now. Oh well, I'm doing my best!5 -

Quick run through for late Saturday night -
It has been a busy and up and down day - too much sitting, then lots of running around, then last minute cooking while trying to practice, BIL arriving with covid, lucky that the weather was good enough to hang out outdoors only... In all, great to see family and swim in the crazy chaos!
Last Call for week 4:
@veronica1359
There are a few people who have missed 2 weigh-ins and will be dropped if we don't hear from you. Hoping that you are there and doing OK! Come back any time if right now is not the best moment -

Good day around the trailer today. It's our last fun weekend here as we are on holidays the next three and then it's time to close up. But, I had chores to do anyway. Wanted to pressure wash the trailer so I got 6K steps alone just doing that. Took my dog for a walk so I'm nearing 10K.. yay. Going to try laddering up my steps for the group challenge so I'll hopefully be on my feet a lot this week, but I know I have a road trip one of the days already... so we'll see how I do!4

NOOOOOOO, short by less than 100!!
I totally would have paced around the trailer a time or two to hit this. To be honest we went to bed to watch a movie and I forgot!
LOL, I know @KellyBgetsfit feels me on this one!! It's just the principle of how close the day was to target!!5 -
Woke up pretty early today on what was supposed to be a sleep in day and couldn't get back to sleep.
Pre-stressing about work this week, not fun!
Thursday is my last day of work until Sep 19, and there's too much to get done between now and then.
Will try to take it a moment at a time.
Changed my mind about laddering up steps in the group challenge this week and switched to push-ups. I have a work lunch every day I'm in the office (Tue-Thurs), am driving to Manitoba (11 hours) on Friday, and Saturday is a pre-wedding event for my aunt before her big day Sunday. Doesn't seem like it's a setup for making step gains!!
This week will be about stress management and not using extra food to cope!
Happy Sunday ya'll!!7 -
Happy Sunday, Lovelies!

I am truly fed up with this tiresome two-step around the same weight. A plateau by any other name!
I slept in this morning as it's been quite a busy week. On Tuesday I went into the college where I start lecturing next October and really got a clearer understanding of how much is riding on me successfully bringing a new group of apprentices through the next 30 months. It's exciting, thrilling, exhilarating, challenging and terrifying, all at once!
I'm so glad that I've got until October before I deliver my first lecture. Meanwhile I also have my freelance management training courses to reassure myself that I know what I'm doing and that I'm good at what I do.
But I have given notice to my café job - I
am just working until the end of
September. Even though it's just Saturdays, I realise that I need to have my weekends entirely to myself. That decision made me feel that I have a little more control over my bigger work projects.
And tomorrow is a bank holiday here, so I am taking the day off. I will be mostly sewing!
I will be back with my step and exercise stats for last week later on.
Enjoy your day, Friends!8 -

@jugar I'd like to join the maintenance team for a couple of weeks please - probably for all of September actually due to holidays etc. I'll let you know when I'm ready to jump back in to weighing, but I'm still going to be in the chat!
I hope things are going well for everybody.
I've had a busy weekend; lots of allotment time and errand running and actual running - 2k on Thursday and 3k this morning (and equivalent walking to get back to the car). It's all felt very productive, but I'm pretty worn out!5 -

Today, we celebrated Mabel's 3rd birthday. I don't think I will hit 10,000 steps today. I am exhausted. I ate too much this weekend. I am not looking forwarded to Wed weigh in. I have had several green day
