I'm up 2.4 pounds, which is a lot for me, and I completely "deserve" it. My meals were generally fine, but I was snacking all week long, every night, multiple snacks. No excuses, I just did it and have to simply recognize that I'm not as on-track as I want/need to be. I'm sure Hanukkah, with its latkes, sufganiyot (jelly donuts), and overarching focus on foods cooked/fried in oil, is all going to make getting back on track super-easy, right? ha ha.

The one positive this week is that I broke my running record from last year, in terms of total miles. That means I've ran more consistently this year than last, and last year was a pretty good year in terms of consistency.

At least I'm still maintaining? I'm 11 pounds over my personal target, but it is still maintenance below my official WW goal weight.

Up 0.8# at WW Wednesday. Gotta get the snacking under control.

Up 1.2 lbs this week but still way below my high by 13 lbs a few short week ago. Mainly eating too much too late. Snacking is under control for the present.

Well, I’ll be a contrarian - I’m down 2.6# this week at 179.2. Why is that important? My November and December weigh-in got me to free Lifetime, but I used almost the entire two pounds of grace they allow. This week, I ended up weighing in below my goal weight of 180 for the first time since July 2014.

    So I’m thinkin' . . . .

That weigh-in Thursday evening followed my morning daily weigh-in at home of 177.0. My official meeting WI is generally between 2.2 and 3.0 pounds over my morning “as God sees me - if She dares” weight. That has me thinking that my daily weigh-in needs to be 175 or lower to have a cushion. I think I’ll mosey on down to that level, and see if I can settle there. That may be where I change my WW status from “Losing Weight” to “Healthy Habits”.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, my wife and I have packed seventeen boxes of stuff from our kitchen as we get ready for the kitchen remodel to start on Monday. As of that day, we lose our current kitchen for at least four weeks if all goes well. We have a kitchenette in the basement - a sink, a medium sized fridge, and a microwave - and I’ll move the coffee stuff and the toaster down there. We should be able to do our normal breakfast and lunch with that, and we have 21 meals portioned and frozen in the freezer. The key will be having a regular pattern of things thawed so we always have something on hand for dinner.

But if that challenge isn’t the definition of a first world problem, I don’t know what is. We’re fortunate and blessed to be in a position to do this.
