I'm down 0.4 pounds. I'll take it. I had two days of "substituting" tea instead of snacks/alcohol, so I feel good about that. Now I just have to keep it up!

Didn't go to WW this week, due to my positive Covid test. My at home was 0.8# up from last week.

A good week for which I can’t take much credit. (Like how I didn’t dangle a participle in public?)

So I’m down 2.0# this week at my official weekly Thursday night weigh-in for a weight of 176.6#. According to my morning daily weigh-in this Thursday, I was down 0.6# from the prior Thursday morning. The confusion? My morning weigh-in was also 176.6#, and the studio result later that day is usually 1.4 to 2.6# heavier. I followed my normal daily ritual for weigh-in day, so that’s not the driver. I asked them to put the excess loss on my tab for next week, but they couldn’t seem to do that. Regardless, if some weeks I just shrug when the scale is up, then some weeks I’ve just gotta shrug when it’s down.

Some things that have gone well?

    - My 14 day daily average weight has been below my goal weight for 18 consecutive days.
    - My daily weight yesterday and today were both new lows for this decade.
    - Third successive month of free Lifetime, and the first one where my first weigh-in of the month was under goal.
    - I've been more precise in my tracking in 2023 (so far), which I think will pay dividends over time.
    - I brought the suit I bought last August in to be altered, and also bought a new suit in a smaller size.

On the flip side, the three suits I kept that fit me at goal now fit well again - but they’re pleated fronts and cuffs, which is more of a 2010 look. I’ve kept them (because pleated front are gonna come back, right?), but they’re a little outdated. First world problems, I know . . . .
