I can't stress enough how important it is to take measurement's before and after the Shred.. You WILL lose quite a few inches.. Let's use the following format - even if for your own records in the beginning, for tracking progress :) I will open a new topic every Sunday for reminders and so that we can share (if wanted) our progress:

Start weight: ___ lbs

Waist (at the smallest part) ___"
Tummy (at the belly button) ___"
Hips (at the largest) ___"
Arm ___"
Thigh ___"
Calf ___"

Although a before picture isn't essential, I would highly recommend you take one (even if it's just for your eye's only). Change is gradual and it is often difficult to notice improvements as they happen. I am certain you will be shocked at how much your body can change in 30 days..

As Jillian says 'The more you show, the more you'll know'.

I suggest taking a before pic, a mid-way pic and an after to compare..

I have just completed day 1 of level 1, as I didn't log on here and see that we will be doing it mon-fri. But I'm glad I did, otherwise it would have just been a day of slacking off again. I will also be logging in metric measurements as I can't keep up with the conversions.

    Start weight: 87.7kgs

Waist (at the smallest part) 88cm
Tummy (at the belly button) 98cm
    Hips (at the largest) 113cm
    Arm 34cm

My thighs and calves are currently in compression bandages so will be inaccurate ill just hope they look smaller at the end :)

    I'll take a photo too :)

    Start weight: 160 lbs

Waist (at the smallest part) 35.5"
Tummy (at the belly button) 39.5"
    Hips (at the largest) 39"
    Arm 12'
    Thigh 21.5"
    Calf 13"

Ugh. That's brutal. Now I just can't wait for those numbers to go down!

I started day one today and honnestly I found level 1 easy. I actually did an extra 1/2 hour of my regular aerobic workout.
Should I go straight to level 2?

This will be my second time doing JM30S. It's a good program and I am happy with the results I got last time. It gets a little redundant at times but I think having the weekends off this time will help with that.

    Start weight: 198 lbs

Waist (at the smallest part) 36"
Tummy (at the belly button) 41"
    Hips (at the largest) 46.5"
    Arm 13"
    Thigh 26"
    Calf 17.5"

I ended up using a ribbon and a regular tape measurer - like the type used for construction LoL - my fiance thought I was nuts but it worked

@rahgoddess - welcome and pics at any point in the beginning are awesome! I'm sure you are going to see awesome results!

no problem-o, hold onto those starting numbers, stick with it 30 days and I am confident you will like the changes you see :flowerforyou:

hopefully at the end of it all you will feel comfortable sharing the transformation (even if it is just the total inches lost)
