Hi,
Just about to start Low Carb for weightloss and Health.
Currently at 220lb and 5"11, female, perimenopausal, aged 47 years and based in the UK.
I am T2 diabetic with hypertension - take Metformin (1000mg twice a day), Dagaglifozin (10mg) and Perindopril (2mg)
Hoping to get off all meds by lowering carbs and increasing activity.
Last AC1 was 7.7 in September
I have set my Macros at Carb 20% (60g), Protein 40% (120g) and Fat 40% (53g)
Would welcome any advice, tips or friends to support me on this journey.

I will be restarting my keto journey on 2/1/23.. I am also type 2 diabetic who takes many meds including metformin twice a day ... You are welcome to add me as a friend if you would like ... my advice is take it slow ...make simple things so you don't get overwhelmed and drink lots of water ...Best of luck to you1

Your macros look very manageable. Get in your protein, keep at or under you carb limit and don't stress about meeting a fat macro, fill that in as you need. If you aren't hungry, don't eat just to meet that1
