Hi,

Just about to start Low Carb for weightloss and Health.

Currently at 220lb and 5"11, female, perimenopausal, aged 47 years and based in the UK.

I am T2 diabetic with hypertension - take Metformin (1000mg twice a day), Dagaglifozin (10mg) and Perindopril (2mg)

Hoping to get off all meds by lowering carbs and increasing activity.

Last AC1 was 7.7 in September

I have set my Macros at Carb 20% (60g), Protein 40% (120g) and Fat 40% (53g)

Would welcome any advice, tips or friends to support me on this journey.

I will be restarting my keto journey on 2/1/23.. I am also type 2 diabetic who takes many meds including metformin twice a day ... You are welcome to add me as a friend if you would like ... my advice is take it slow ...make simple things so you don't get overwhelmed and drink lots of water ...Best of luck to you :)

Your macros look very manageable. Get in your protein, keep at or under you carb limit and don't stress about meeting a fat macro, fill that in as you need. If you aren't hungry, don't eat just to meet that :)
