February has been a bit discouraging for me and I am so thankful this is not my first rodeo in weight loss. I need to keep reminding myself to not just look at the scale. It will fluctuate and I need to be mindful as to what I ate (splurged on) to make that happen. I have noticed my jeans and dress slacks are not as tight as they were. Measurements are so important to log in as well. I should have logged my measurements the day I started back on last week of December, but did not until almost a month later. My first log of measurements was 1/21/23. I measured again yesterday 2/20/23 and lost .5 inches in all areas except for my waist which has remained the same. I have lost 8 pounds and 4 inches so far. This got me over the slump of feeling down because I was not seeing the scale reflect weight loss. I probably will not see a loss of 10 pounds by the end of this month but encouraged by the loss of inches and proud of myself.
