Give up or Give in during Lent?

In January we set New Year Resolutions. Mine was to lose weight and get back to healthy and strong. I'm still on board with this, slowly the weight is coming off and slowly I can see progress. Yesterday was Fat Tuesday, in Italy, we call it Carnevale. Oddly enough it was our Bunko night and we all chatted about a lot of things including "what are you giving up for Lent?". Some said sugar, "no sugar", which I thought to myself (good luck, most of our processed foods have sugar). Another said alcohol, and there are the ones that give up chocolate, desserts, carbs, etc. I am still at a loss, what am I going to give up? I don't know...We eat very clean except for when the grandkids are over or I have dinner party guests. I make everything from scratch and just about all our foods are whole, organic, and non GMO. So it made me think, instead of giving up, give in. Give in to mindful eating, logging in, working out, daily gratitude.
