This is a thread for everyone. If you're new to GoaD, or to weight loss, your questions and comments are always welcome. If you're maintaining, or a long-term loser, your thoughts on the topic may be just what someone else needs to hear. If you're reading this, join in the discussion!

Each weekday, a new topic is offered up for discussion.

Monday - crewahl (Charlie)
Tuesday – Flintwinch (Tim)
Wednesday - misterhub (Greg)
Thursday -imastar2 (Derrick)
Friday - Wildcard

Today's Topic: “Sherman, set the Wayback Machine to . . . “

“ . . . . when you first seriously tried to lose weight.”

Looking back with what you’ve learned over the years, what’s the ONE piece of advice or information you’d give to that earlier version of you?

(And name the person who said the line opening this topic.)

“Yes, you DO need the help of other people to do this. If you can admit that, you can do it.”

First time. You need fitness, not weight loss.

Second? You need weight loss. WL happens in the kitchen, not the gym.
