Happy Easter UAC pals!
It's easy to feel deprived as others are feasting on holiday meals and easter sweets. It's the time when we need to dig deeply and remember our reasons for doing this. And even if we do give in and fall off our plan, remember that one bad meal, day, etc. doesn't need to be an excuse to turn it into a bad day, week, etc. Just try to turn it around as quickly as possible and get right back on schedule. Instead of beating yourself up, challenge and pride yourself on how fast you can get back on track. And I guess the good news is that it's only Easter weekend - not Christmas week!

Love the cartoon! Great words of advice in the opener - thanks @Jana_20204

I choose not to feel deprived, and allow myself moderate amounts of treats. It’s only 2 days, after all.4 -

Wishing happiness and wellness to all who check in today! May you show yourself grace and kindness today, regardless of how the day goes. Like Jana so wisely said in today’s opener, it is but one day, one meal, or one weekend. So if your plan didn’t meet your original expectations, celebrate that you are here, and that the pursuit of wellness caused you to be here this year. 🐣🐥🌷@Jana_2020

3 pass day.
As mentioned in the opening statement tomorrow I will be back at it. Had a wonderful day with the family. I’m in the front and my six grandkids and my mom. She didn’t want her picture taken but I said we need one for memories. I have a few pictures with my grandparents that I treasure.

Happy Easter to those who celebrate and those who don’t I do hope you had an enjoyable day. Did I slip a bit you bet mini Cadbury eggs but it’s ok I had help. To off set them I did 6 miles of spin played with the dog and chopped up some ice to get our cars back in the driveway….I think winters over we park on the front lawn to avoid the mega drifts of snow!

pass day #3. Last one. Starting tomorrow I'll do 20 minutes of exercise a day on upper body. The pain pill I have for my ankle is great. I have no real pain now but of course I must not overuse the ankle/foot or it could cause a problem.

First pass day - not too bad. A little over but lots of exercise. I will probably balance out the over # during the rest of the week. A perk of maintaining. 😱😀2 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? No. Although probably had 20+ minutes of activity between meal preparation, clean up and toddler chasing. My step count looks better than it does on some days I do exercise.

Three yeses!
I was able to track my lunch quite accurately, including a dessert and a bottle of (non-alcohol) beer. Managed a painfully slow walk round the block as well as some 5-minute workout routines. Kept within my calorie budget.
No children here this year so no easter eggs. I have some very good quality chocolate in the cupboard that I have a small square of occasionally, but the commercial easter eggs do not tempt me.
Hot cross buns are another thing altogether but I didn’t buy any so no temptation there.
1 pass day so far.
