✈️DESTINATION - Bhopal, India 6,000- Water and Daily Sparkle
The challenge begins on Saturday morning. Water and Daily Sparkle

A country by name, but a continent in scale, India in one word is diversity. To guide you where to go when faced with such rich variety, our India specialists use the experience of their own travels to create your tailor-made vacation to India.
Rose of Sharon isn't a rose, but its large, flat blossoms and nectar attract hummingbirds and tiny insects. Native to China and India, they have been cultivated as long as records exist. The Chinese used the flowers and leaves for food. Thomas Jefferson grew them from seed and was documented to have planted them at all three of his homes. The flowers on this woody shrub come in several colors, including white, pink, purple, and red. Its leaves don't come out until late in spring, causing several kinds to have dark-colored centers in the flowers, and single-flowering types are quite common. Seedlings often sprout in nearby areas. Propagation from cuttings is usually preferred, because unlike seedlings, rooted cuttings will be exactly like their parents.

Living the Good Life – Drink your water, daily maximum 8 cups to record, but drink what you want.
Did you know if you don't drink enough water your skin is dehydrated? This occurs when there’s a lack of water in the skin, and your skin typically looks dull and can show premature aging, like surface wrinkles and loss of elasticity. Try the pinch test - pinch the skin on your arm or the back of your hand, and if it stays tented after you let go, this could indicate moderate or even severe dehydration. Water replenishes skin tissues, moisturizes skin and increases skin elasticity. This spring be the best version of yourself, stay well hydrated!
The sensation of thirst decreases with age, as does the amount of water in our bodies, which makes seniors more at risk for dehydration. But anyone can become dehydrated without feeling thirsty. Other dehydration symptoms can include: A dry or sticky mouth or a swollen tongue.
🌟Build a healthy forever habit - have a glass of water on the table each time you eat and make a point of drinking it all.
NO SODAS! Count 100% zero calorie drinks or herbal teas, but water is what you should try to drink if you can. Aim for 64 ounces (8 glasses) of water each day.
Water is a quick and healthy way to feel full. Drink a glass when you're having trouble controlling cravings or hunger, and you might find those feelings subside. Replacing high-calorie drinks with water saves calories and helps with weight loss.
You may think you are hungry when you are actually thirsty or dehydrated. Before reaching for an unplanned snack or eating between meals, drink a glass of water first and wait a few minutes. Often, the water will hit the spot if you're only thirsty, but hunger will intensify the longer you wait. When you stay hydrated during the day it’s easy to keep your appetite in check.
When you drink water throughout the day, before, and during meals it helps you eat less overall - especially before the meal, so you will be less hungry. Also, dehydration slows metabolism, but the process of drinking water and warming it to body temperature involves energy and burns calories. When you feel tired have a couple of glasses of water and you will feel refreshed in a few minutes.
Don't drink all of your daily water at once, divide it into several glasses of water throughout the day. This is especially important if you engage in lots of heavy exercise.
Some of the benefits of drinking water:
• Regulate your body temperature.
• Keep your joints lubricated.
• Flush toxins.
• Water has zero calories.
• Relieve headaches caused by even mild dehydration.
• Look younger with healthier skin that is properly hydrated.
• Both fiber and water are needed to maintain regular bowel movements.

📝Living the Good Life 2: - Daily Sparkle (move naturally) copied from a post by kaliswalker
You don’t have to choose between having a clean house and getting some exercise. This week let's increase our daily natural movements by 10 minutes a day doing household chores. Maybe this is 10 more minutes of cleaning/movement than you usually would.
Doing household chores is a recognized form of exercise “exer-cleaning” (exercise cleaning). To get more exercise-like benefits from cleaning, you can exaggerate your motions and pick up the pace (cleaning quickly is more of a workout). To be more intentional - for example while folding clothes add in leg lifts or squats.
Before you start housework, turn on some lively music that gets you amped up and ready to rock (your mop). Playing music during housework will make the job more enjoyable and encourage more beneficial movements. When doing chores, remember to keep your abs tight and knees flexed to take the strain off your back.
To add more vigor - Vacuum briskly non-stop for 10 minutes (switching arms as you go). Or, do lunges while vacuuming (keep toes pointed straight ahead, and don't bend your knees further than 90 degrees).
Picking up: Instead of bending over, do a squat with each item you pick up. Remember to use your legs, not your back. If you pick up 20 toys, you’ve done 20 reps. You can also do squats while unloading the dishwasher.
Household Chores - move naturally
Walk to the store
Clean the car
Gardening
Bath the dog
Cook
Wash and put away the dishes
Wipe down counters, scrub the sink
Put away belongings
Do the laundry
Fold and put away clean clothes
Iron
Vacuum, sweep, dust
Scrub the floor, dance around with that mop
Clean the sink, toilet, bathtub, and shower stall
Make the bed
Tidy up
Take out trash
Clean window
Pick up toys
Paint/decorate
Etc.
Housework shouldn't be your only form of exercise, but every little bit of activity helps. It’s the ultimate multitasking win: A cleaner house and a healthier you.
